Just finished the Splatoon 2 Hero Mode for the second time:
Let me start off by saying this time around I got a hundred percent this time around. Every Sunken Scroll and every Sardinium too. The locations of the Scrolls were more well hidden in this game compared to the first game and made for somewhat of a difficult challenge. The real challenge in this mode is beating all 27 stages of Hero Mode with every weapon type. In total there are nine different weapons in the game you can play with and depending on the weapon changes the stage up a bit to help you get through the stage. Completing each stage with a single weapon will grant you access to use the weapon in online play back in Inkopolis Plaza. Thats the part I had most difficulty doing, every time I got a new weapon I would go back and complete all the stages I had done before with it and it made for a good play time of about 25 ish hours. Some stages are extremely easy and some hard and with certain weapons like I said can add to that difficulty or make it a bit easier. Honestly I love Hero Mode but the only part that I wish I could change would be using the different weapons. I understand why they made it that way was to help people get a feel for the other weapons in the game. I can say that yes it helped me improve with a lot of the weapon types, such as the Charger (Sniper) I feel more used to controlling the aim and lining up shots nicely, but others like the Blaster are still not great to me due to lack of range. I still highly recommend this game if you haven't played it. Even though Splatfests are no more the community is ever growing and its still a fun game to play with people online regardless!
