My Birthday Challenge | Lose till 60kgs by September 1st, 2024 | Day 64
I am bloated as I write this. I paused my daily movement in the last two days as well. Aiming to get back to routine right after I reach home and the celebration is over. I promise.

My Birthday Challenge | Lose till 60kgs by September 1st, 2024 | Day 66
I donāt consider myself a sandwich person at all. But yesterdayās lunch with @dietcoach.pk was one of the most filling and yummiest one to date. Just an update, I have not been feeling well lately so the steps are on hold. Iāll pick them up back from coming week ā inshallah!
This weekend is supremely special for me since itās my anniversary, alhumdulilah. Letās see how that goes!

My Birthday Challenge | Lose till 60kgs by September 1st, 2024 | Day 68
Small habits matter more than we think. For instance, I would always keep a glass of water during my meals. No matter what happened in the world, I never had food without water or any drink on the side. Not just that but months would pass by and I wouldnāt eat a single dry fruit or have milk. I never considered these things important until @fitfam.by.shahira emphasised and made me learn its importance, especially with me aging now. Sheās been a big saviour!
I gave myself 21 days straight of no water during my meals and one fruit a day every day and guess what? Itās become part of my lifestyle. I donāt feel the need of drinking 2 3 glasses of water with my food now, instead I take 1 glass of water 30 minutes before my meal and I eat all fresh seasonal fruits. If you all are following my journey, read this carefully, give your body everything it needs to be at its best.
Also, why didnāt I know about @dietcoach.pk before? I mean could you all tell this is diet food? Itās so delicious and Iām pretty sure most of you would agree with me here!

My Birthday Challenge | Lose till 60kgs by September 1st, 2024 | Day 69
I was skeptical about opting for a dietician for a really long time. Somewhere inside me I genuinely thought I would just be handed over a manual about what to eat or not and it wonāt help me as such. I delayed it for so long and honestly I regret doing so.
Opting for @fitfam.by.shahira was one of the best decisions I made for myself. She gave me clarity as to where I stood health wise and where I was headed, definitely not where I wanted to be. She was pretty straightforward since the beginning and didnāt really keep unrealistic goals for me. The whole process was very smooth with from getting my necessary labs done, to understanding what my body needs, what steps should I take, and how I can take them, all while being not stressful at all. Instead I started enjoying to a point where Iām doing this challenge not by starving myself but by eating healthy.
@dietcoach.pk is such a great addition to my life as well. My lunch and dinner was calorie counted, they are cooked fresh, offer the desired quantity and itās yummy. If you all looking for a service like that, give it a try. So far, so good experience with them honestly!
I do need to learn how to manage my sugar cravings.

My Birthday Challenge | Lose till 60kgs by September 1st, 2024 | Day 70
Have I lost majorly since being physically active? Maybe no. Do I feel at my best now? Definitely yes. All gratitude to my dietitian @fitfam.by.shahira for her guidance. I wasnāt eating mindfully before, youād always be most likely to catch me eating, especially meetha all day long. There was no concept of clean eating or time management or physical activity in my life before, especially after I started working from home. My dietician guided me in the right direction, answered my gazillion questions, and kept pushing me to a point where Iām a lot careful about what goes inside my body.
In addition, I have subscribed the weekly mean plan from @dietcoach.pk for next 14 days. Today was my first day with them and honestly Iām blown away. They reached me on time, their serving was nutritious and generous, and their menu is so diverse. It was a hassle free experience with a spot on customer service by @rabiamansoor3
I subscribed before too with another diet food service but all money went down the drain. Iāll keep you all posted regarding @dietcoach.pk and share my honest opinion for the next two weeks so that just incase youāre interested you can give it a try and start healthy eating.
If thereās one sincere advice I could offer to all at this age and phase in life, it would definitely be this: Water your friendships.
Life goes on and itāll be a lonely one if we donāt have friends around. Have your own circle, doesnāt necessarily have to be a big one. It could be a small circle, but have one. Have genuine friendships and try to take time out for them. Hold on to people who stuck by you through different phases of life.
This is my friend @tayabuuu since 2004 ā yeah, you read that right. It hasnāt always been rainbows and sunshines but itās been worth the ride of more than two decades alhumdulilah. Celebrating the big day with her and everyone else from āmy circleā was nothing less than a magic.
And because it was such a busy weekend with friends and fam, I couldnāt document what I ate. I did eat unhealthy and couldnāt hit my steps. Getting back to it first thing Monday. I promise.
Iād love to know about your circle!

My Birthday Challenge | Lose till 60kgs by September 1st, 2024 | Day 74
If you canāt go to the gym, go to the park near you. If you canāt do that, go outside of your home to jog. If you can do that then take a stroll on your terrace/balcony/roof. Point is, take your steps wherever you can. Keep yourself active throughout the day. You donāt need to start with an hour long walk, start with a 20 minutes walk, increase it gradually.
Youāll start feeling a lot better about yourself. And honestly youāll always spot me working or phoning a friend whenever Iām at it. Itās one of the best investments you can make for yourself.
I didnāt have a brown bread or else would have had it. I have started finding white bread too sweet now. Also, I made the keema myself so it had very less oil. Sometimes homemade meals beat the fancy ones. Right?
Iāll be having a busy weekend. What are your plans?

My Birthday Challenge | Lose till 60kgs by September 1st, 2024 | Day 75
I think Iām lowkey happy that Eid holidays are about to be over because I have eaten bad non-stop and I need to go back to clean eating. My sister put up such a delicious spread for Eid ā alhumdulilah. I ended up giving in to the soft drink after two whole months. That doesnāt mean Iām going to have it again regularly now, Iād try to skip it longer than 2 months now.
I hit my steps throughout the day. So thatās that. Apart from that I have switched to sugar free chai. It tasted bizarre to me in the beginning but I think itās growing on me gradually. Initially I used to even pair my chai with a biscuit pack every single evening but I learned to let go of the habit for good! Baby steps, right?
Are you happy or sad to be going back to your routine?

This reel misses a small bowl of Sheer Khurma sent over by my sister, I forgot to record itš„²š¤·š¼āāļøI hadnāt walked for two days straight so I prioritised my walk today around the guests arrival. It felt so good to sweat again. Apart from that, those who know me know how crazy Iām for mangoesš„šBecause itās a calorie packed fruit, I opted for it for my lunch instead and that sufficed. Also, Iāll NOT be having it after the third day of Eid.
I have mentally prepared myself so no matter how hard I try to eat clean I wonāt be able to, thatās fine I guess. Iām sure Iād be able to pick it up from Thursday onwardsšÆšŖš¼One last Eid dawat to go at my sisterās & I would be all sorted later!

My Birthday Challenge | Lose till 60kgs by September 1st, 2024 | Day 77
When I got married I struggled finding a park around my neighbourhood for jogging. I wasted two whole years almost looking for one just so that I could get started, until one day I stepped out of my flat and started using corridorš¤·š¼āāļøI made a mindset shift - I told myself this is the best I can manage right now and I startedšš¼šš¼šš¼No more excuses for myself. And gradually I have found a pretty decent park around me too. Guess sometimes all it takes is just one step, literally.
Also, itās SO difficult to stay on track during Eid ā this is me literally trying my best. But, I know itās difficult and right after Eid passes away, Iād be back on track inshallahš¤š»š
Itās been no movement two days straight, hence I need to move tomorrow. Will I be able to do it?

āDear [Name],
I appreciate the offer and the opportunity to be considered for the role at [Company Name]. Iām genuinely inspired by your organizationās work and believe Iām an excellent fit for the position.
However, the offered salary of Rs.50,000 falls below my expected range, which is between Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 70,000. While I understand budget constraints, Iām confident in the value I can bring to the role based on my experience in X, Y, Z.
If thereās room to revisit the salary and align it more closely with my expectations, I would be eager to continue our discussion. Given my extensive experience and the market value of my skills, I find it challenging to accept the current offer.
Thank you again for considering me. I hope we can find a mutually satisfactory solution, and I look forward to your response.
Thank you,
