New Delhi: The ambitious proposal to
build a new Parliament building has seen an 18.8 per cent cost escalation — to Rs 922 crore from Rs 776 crore — at a time when the Modi government is trying to

raging Covid-19 outbreak, ThePrint has
learnt.
The proposed new Parliament building will come up on the same premises that houses the old one and is part of the Rs
20,000-crore Central Vista

India-China border tensions must be seen in the backdrop of Beijing’s deteriorating international relations during the coronavirus outbreak, experts say.

New Delhi: Indian and Chinese forces are facing off by a glacial lake in the Himalayas that traverses their fluid frontier. The standoff at 14,000 feet (4,270 meters) is the most visible theater of conflict between the world’s two most populous nations, but it’s far from the only source of friction.

Despite the remote location, the military buildup at the un-demarcated border at Pangong Tso lake should not be seen in isolation, but set against the backdrop of Beijing’s deteriorating international relations during the coronavirus outbreak.

Tensions are flaring as governments from the U.S. to Europe, Japan and Australia move to cut a dependence on China exposed by the pandemic, and India spies an economic opening that it’s seeking to exploit. But analysts of India-China relations say Prime Minister Narendra Modi risks stoking tensions with Beijing in siding too closely with Donald Trump at a time when the U.S. president is picking a fight with China.

While all politicians and political parties make tall promises - the BJP and Narendra Modi in specific did something radical before and after 2014. They
promised a slew of measures that were game
changes to say the least. While it was not clear HOW
these changes would of brining in black money - making India a business hub etc - double farmer income - these assurances and vision statements
were sure lapped up by the public.
Branded as Modi's masterstrokes - these promises
played a key role in getting Modi elected to high office and also has helped in maintaining his popularity...but with the economy sinking and strife rising - people are starting to question and remember the tall promises that had been made.
Not to forget - BJP celebrating its 6th year in power - even has the CV count kept increasing.

Here are some facts about Donald Trump, a man running for president:

Donald Trump is an as***le.

Don't be fooled: being an as***le might make Donald Trump highly electable. One recent study suggests bullies enjoy high self-esteem, and that advantage seems to be helping Trump; he's currently leading a bunch of polls among people with bad taste.

Calling Donald Trump what he is — a
huge as***le — probably won't damage his self-image, seeing as the man is a gelatinous cube that grows stronger in proportion to the public's disgust. But
documentation is nonetheless
necessary. Here are 54 times Donald Trump called someone a dummy on Twitter.

When the nation faces unprecedented difficulties like the COVID-19 virus attack, the politicians should have stood behind the government in every policy matter and should have provided constructive suggestions. But then present opposition parties especially Congress appear to bent upon negative politics irrespective of whatever problems the nation is facing. A recent example is the accusations on the PM-CARE fund created exclusively to tackle the Corona threat in the country by receiving donations from the countrymen.

Congress is quick to ask why there’s a special trust when there’s already PMNRF (Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund’) existing with some 3800 crore rupees lying unutilized. Some asked who are the members and whether the trust is registered. The government too clarified regarding the trustees and also explained why a different trust is required. According to the government, any expenditure from PMNRF requires legislative approval whereas PM-CARE can be utilized as and when required and subject to audit. The PMNRF is for general national disasters that may occur at any time such as earthquakes, floods, cyclones, etc whereas PM CARE is exclusively for COVID-19 which is pandemic and not only a grave disaster for India rather it’s more disastrous than both the World Wars globally. I am not going into the explanation by the government. My point is certain opposition leaders comment on TV debates that PM-Care is for promotion of Narendra Modi’s cult in such a national calamity situation.

Are those leaders, right? Is PM care having anything related to Narendra Modi as an individual or BJP specific party affaire? The name is PM-CARE where Prime Minister is the chairperson and Defence Minister, Home Minister and Finance ministers are the members. These are permanent posts and not individual-centric. In any case the very PMNRF is established by then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Was it there for promotion of cult of Pundit Nehru? If not, then how can PM-CARE be for the promotion of the cult of Narendra Modi?

It’s really amazing when Congress accuses for cult promotion. Forget about PMNRF, in the ‘Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Trust’ it made a provision for President of Indian National Congress Party as a permanent member. Why a political party’s president is given such a privilege while India is a multi-party democracy?

Most of the institutions, airports, stadiums, Chowks and roads are named after the Gandhi dynasty. Forget about places, even awards like ‘Rajiv Khel Ratna award’ was named after Rajiv Gandhi although the name is scrapped by the present dispensation. Congress in its long rule always promoted its leaders especially the Gandhi family members. In the six years of Narendra Modi’s tenure not a single thing is named after Narendra Modi or his family members. Thus, blaming Modi that he is promoting himself is wrong. Rather too much negative politics against him promote his popularity among people.

On another note, I would say, if he would have made a ‘Narendra Modi fund’ it would have been widely accepted for the public. Don’t forget that it’s the same Narendra Modi on whose appeal crore of people sacrificed their gas subsidy. He is only the second Prime Minister after Lala Bahadur Shastri on whose appeal people are ready to sacrifice. Lal Bahadur Shastri in his tenure appealed for sacrificing one meal due to food shortage in the country at that time and crores of people sacrificed one meal per day.

Narendra Modi till day disbursed his job honestly and religiously. But his invincibility in Indian political scene at the moment is due to very poor opposition who are losing their credibility because of cheap and negative politics. Sooner the opposition realises this the better would be for them and the nation

Love your earth because we have lot's of water but we have less drinking water we have lot's of oxygen but we have less pure oxygen we have very less time and now we can't be depend on GOVERNMENT.
