After 14 years, this poster is finally in my archives! Way back in 2010 I was lucky enough to be part of, at that point, the biggest meeting of real superheroes in history. 20 of us had been brought to Los Angeles by photographer Peter Tangen (who did the movie posters for the original Spider-Man trilogy, and basically all the superhero movies at the time) for this crazy project of making movie posters for all of us. It was supposed to become a big traveling gallery exhibit, which never wound up happening. But the day of the shoot, meeting with all the heroes from around the nation who I only knew from online, was one I’ll never forget.

The Nomad was awesome! Marvel should bring this back. Captain America is old and dated!

I liked the Nomad storyline in Captain America and this is one of my favorite covers by Gil Kane from that storyline. Great sense of movement in the action Gil drew!
