*A mango tree* does not worry when the Orange tree is producing fruits in its season. When you see me sitting in a restaurant without food on my table don’t feel pity for me, I am waiting for my order. When your season comes, nothing will stand in your way., The slow movement of a Lion doesn’t show weakness or tiredness but rather calculated steps to get it’s prey… Never bother how fast people are moving. Move at your own pace and trust God to see you through. Remember its not how fast you build your house but it’s how firm and strong your house will be when the storms come. Good things come to those who wait upon Him.

LEARNING FROM THE PLANE: THE 7 GREAT LESSON OF LIFE.

- As soon as a plane lands at the airport, there is another plane taking off from that airport, and others lined up to take off too. They all leave to different destinations and even back to the airport you departed.

-This is the way life is; When you think you have "arrived" you find others are taking off.... Some to where you are coming from and others to other activities.

-You may have been a house wife for lack of a job, as soon as you land your dream job, you find someone resigning to become a house wife or for greener pastures.. You may be basking in all the wealth but have serious deficiencies in health.

-There are people crying day and night for lack of children and yet others are crying day and night BECAUSE of their children. I have met people depressed for not being married and have met others depressed for being married . There are people who are sick and tired for lack of a job while others are sick and tired of their jobs.

-I have seen parents very worried on how their kids will perform in exams while others are worried on how to take those who have performed well to good schools.

-This is life...we will never have it all and its like chasing the wind...Instead of always being in a marathon trying to get it all, its important to take frequent pauses and reflect.

-Learn to be contented in every situation. Enjoy what you have and where you are. Always Generate a thanksgiving heart and trust God to move you from one level to another.

Looking at Mirror
One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big advice on the door on which it was written: “Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym”. In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself.

The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room. The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up. Everyone thought: “Who is this guy who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he died!” One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside it could see himself.

There was also a sign next to the mirror that said: “There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth: it is YOU.” You are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your success. You are the only person who can help yourself. Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your partner changes, when your company changes. Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life. “The most important relationship you can have is the one you have with yourself” .

Moral: The world is like a mirror: it gives back to anyone the reflection of the thoughts in which one has strongly believed. The world and your reality are like mirrors lying in a coffin, which show to any individual the death of his divine capability to imagine and create his happiness and his success. It’s the way you face Life that makes the difference.

PRAYER AND BLESSINGS FOR THE NEW YEAR

As 2019 finally comes to a close and as we usher in an eventful 2020, I take this opportunity to PRAY for and SPEAK A BLESSING upon YOU ALL my brothers and sisters, the SONS and DAUGHTERS of the Most High God, the Almighty, Who alone resides in unapproachable light.

Have a great and blessed REMEMBRANCE OF THE BIRTH OF THE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST (Christmas) and get into the New Year with the power of RESURRECTION LIFE, saturated with God’s great authority, divine healing, the peace of God that passes all understanding, prosperity in every area and blessings without end.

I LOVE YOU ALL WITH THE LOVE OF CHRIST. Amen.

*THINGS EVERYBODY SHOULD DO IN 2020*

*1. Pursue* something. Don't walk in the entire 365 days without having something particular in mind to achieve. Start a building project, buy a car, pay some school fees, start some job. Just do something!

*2. Walk* with people wiser or stronger than you. In 2020, surround yourself with people who will inspire you, who will make you feel you can do better, who will challenge you on.

*3. Check* your dressing or appearance. Don't put on 'anything' just because it covers your nakedness. Your appearance tells a lot about you. Iron your dress neatly. Don't wear dresses in the name of fashion or trend . Wear more decent but fitting dresses. This is the slogan: Simple but Classy.

*4. Check* how you talk. Before you open your mouth, be minded of who you are talking to, where you are talking, when you are talking and also know that your integrity is at stake. In every situation, choose silence over speech unless you don't have any option.

*5. Visit* old people's home to appreciate them also orphanage and children in need of special care. Don't let them feel unwanted or neglected in the scheme of things.

*6. In 2020,* be more prayerful. You can't live your life thinking things occur merely logically. There's a Supreme Being who makes things happen, pray to him.🙏

*7. In 2020,* start thinking or planning towards doing more for humanity.

*8. In 2020,* always think Positive while being Realistic. When you see tigers praying to God, don't join them. You can be positive that they won't 'chop' you since they are praying but be realistic too that after the prayers, they'll remain tigers and God will feed them with flesh.

*9. Buygifts* for your loved ones. In 2019, try and do something 'small' for parents (for those who still have them alive). You have no idea what goes on in their minds Let them feel you are not far off

*10. In 2020,* Invest more, save less, spend less. Put your money into investment ventures. Buy T-bills, buy shares, buy fixed deposits, import some goods and sell, be a stock broker, etc. In fact, get more than one stream of income!

*11. Many known names* have gone and life goes on. . The point is, don't work your life out. You won't take your work with you when you die. You are not as important as you think, calm down. Take time off work, go and do medical check-up, visit your family, visit gardens or the beach and appreciate nature,etc.

EXILED AT PATMOS, BUT JOHN HEARD A GREAT VOICE

"I John, who also am your brother, and companion in TRIBULATION, and in the KINGDOM and PATIENCE of Jesus Christ, was in the ISLE that is called PATMOS, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the SPIRIT on the Lord's day, and HEARD behind me a GREAT VOICE, as of a TRUMPET." (Rev 1:9-10).

They exiled him because they could not kill him. But even in the LONELINESS OF PATMOS, John's love for God kept him in the Fire of the Holy Spirit. In him, the King of the universe found a vessel to give the final message of salvation to His church.

_A farmer went to the field one day to cultivate_ .

_During the work, he glanced at the mango tree and saw a big ripe mango he plucked it_ .

_An idea occurred to him not to eat this mango, but to take it home to his wife whom he loves so much, even though he was starving_ .

_When he got home, he called his wife and gave the mango to show her his love_ .

_Very happy with this precious gift, the woman thought directly of her child who had gone to school_ .

_She took the mango, thanked her husband sincerely and reassured her that she would eat it afterwards_ .

_The woman hid the mango and decided to give it to her son as soon as he returns from school to show him her love_ .

_As soon as the child came back from school, the mother gave him this mango with a lot of joy in her heart_ .

_The child thanked his mother warmly for this precious gift and told his mother that he would eat it later_ .

_He too resolved to hide this mango and make a surprise gift to his father who pays his school fees, believing that the Dad knows nothing about this mango_ .

_In the evening while everyone was eating the family meal, the child said to his father_ :

" _*One minute dad, I will bring you a present because I love you so much*_ ".

_He ran to his room, took the mango and gave it to his father_ .

_He was surprised to see the same mango he had given to his beloved wife returned back to him again._

_Without any comment, he asked for a knife and shared it equally among the three of them_ ( *himself, his wife and his child* ).

_They all ate this mango with a lot of joy_ .

_That's how love works_ .

*WHEN YOU GIVE LOVE, it COMES BACK to YOU in ANOTHER WAY* , because *LOVE* is the *MOST EXTRAORDINARY FORCE* that *GOVERNS* the *UNIVERSE* of *GOD* .

DESTINED TO REIGN

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28

GOD MAKES ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD
In this verse, “all things” is literally all things—the good, the bad and the ugly! Now, it does not mean that all things are from God. Some things, such as accidents, sicknesses, and broken relationships are not from Him. They are just part of the fallen world that we live in. But what this verse does tell us is that “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” That is our inheritance as God’s beloved children.

Do the people of the world have this inheritance? No. When bad things happen to them, they are what they are—bad things. But when bad things happen to the children of God, it does not end there. God can make those bad things work together for good. In other words, the devil may throw lemons at you, but God can take those lemons and make refreshing lemonade for you!
For example, if you have been retrenched, believe that God, who makes all things work together for good, has a better job for you.

It is important you remember that God is not behind anything bad or ugly. But when those things happen, know that He can make all things work together for good. And don’t let anyone tell you that all things will work together for good only if you love God and are called according to His purpose. These two things are not conditions but descriptions of believers. Believers are those who love God because they know that God first loved them (see 1 John 4:19). And they are called according to His purpose for they have been born again and belong to Him.
My friend, because you have been born again, all things in your life will work together for good. This is your inheritance as a beloved child of God!

Never thought about this before:

I have always thought that Noah was safe inside the Ark because he built it according to God's specifications. I thought that perhaps it was the strength of the gopher wood and the soundness of the architecture that ensured that the waters of the flood would not come into the Ark.

But today I encountered a verse that shifted this whole paradigm.
Let's read what Gen 7:16 says .." The animals going in were male and female of every living thing as God had commanded Noah..
THEN GOD SHUT HIM IN....

Don't miss this.... even after Noah had built the Ark, it was God Himself who shut him in, in order to shut out the waters of the flood... In other translations this verse says "The Lord sealed them inside."

It is not the fact that you have locked your house that keeps you safe at night, it is not your good driving skills that keeps you safe on the road, neither it's your healthy eating habits that keeps you healthy - only God can shut you in and shut out the devil that is seeking to devour you.

Father we pray that in this last quarter of the year, as we walk into the streets and as we drive on the roads, Oh God shut us in. Father we pray for our children that in the midst of dangers and molesters... You will shut them in, keep out the flood waters of abuse, r**e, murder, accidents, diseases and untimely death... Oh God shut us in, shut us in your Ark of protection , into your Ark of compassion..

May GOD SHUT US IN AS WE OBEY HIM AND TRUST IN HIS WORD. Amen!!

*TOO LATE TO APOLOGISE.*

IT WAS A RAINY DAY....

It was raining heavily on a Monday morning when I heard a knock at my door. I opened, standing before me was a young man with bushy hair, dirty shoes, well soaked by the rain, looking too unkept for my liking.
Good morning, he greeted with humility , how may I help you? I replied displeasingly. Please sir kindly help me with your umbrella if you have any, my journey is still very far from here, I promise to return it tomorrow morning. I looked at him for a while, suddenly some thoughts came into my mind. why would someone who's already soaked be asking for an umbrella, what if he doesn't return it? I don't trust you, but I will give you, I said. But make sure you return it tomorrow as you have promised.
I went in and got an old umbrella that i stopped using for months and gave to him. Thank you very much, he happily expressed and left. Next morning, a knock at my door, I came out and saw two handsome men dressed in royal apparel. Good morning sirs, I humblly bowed in greetings, Good morning, they replied. Here is a present for you from our prince, son of the Emperor. I don't know any prince, i muttered. They brought out a well pakaged golden box on the top of it they wrote, "Thanks for yesterday" I said to them, sorry I can't remember meeting or helping any prince yesterday, one of them brought out another present here is also yours from the prince, I excitedly unwrapped the gift in their presence; behold it was my old dirty umbrella that I gave to the poor young man yesterday. I screamed in tears, I didn't give him my best, I had the best umbrella, but i gave him the worst (I wept bitterly) the voice echoed so loud, IT IS TOO LATE TO APOLOGIZE. When I lifted up my face, both men had disappeared. Immediately I remembered the sacrifice of Cain and Abel in Genesis 4:3-6. Cain had the best but gave God the worst. Brethren, please how is your service to God? Are you giving Him your best? or your Worst? Let this story be your mirror every day, look into your life again and again and Answer the Question.How do you relate with others in your life, your workmates, friends, etc... remember you won't know which person is representing God in each day.
Hebrews 13:1-2 states "Let brotherly love continue.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."

Let us learn and do while we can. 🙏

A father before he died said to his son: “this is a watch your grandfather gave and this is more than 200 years old, but before I give it to you go to the watch shop on the first street, and tell him I want to sell it, and see how much it is”.
He went and then came back to his father, and said, "The watchmaker wanted to pay 5 dollars because it's old”.
Then he said to him: “Now go to the coffee shop”.
He went and then came back, and said: “He wanted to pay $5 father”. “Now go to the museum and show that watch”.
He went then came back, and said to his father “THEY OFFERED ME A MILLION DOLLARS FOR THIS PIECE!!!”.
The father said: “I wanted to let you know that the right place will recognize your value. Don't put yourself in the wrong place and get angry if you're not appreciated according to your worth. He who knows your value is he who appreciates you. Don't stay in a place that doesn't suit you".

THE DOOR OF RECONCILIATION

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.*
*2 Corinthians 5:18-21
God has a door of reconciliation that the apostle Paul wrote passionately about in his letter to the church in Corinth. At His initiative and because of His infinite love, God exchanged the broken relationship with humans for a restored relationship through Christ’s death on the cross. We were far away from God, but in His mercy He didn’t leave us there. He offers us restoration with Himself—“not counting people’s sins against them” (2 Corinthians 5:19). Justice was fulfilled when “God made [Jesus] who had no sin to be sin for us,” so that in Him we could be at peace with God (v. 21).

Once we accept God’s hand in peace, we’re given the important task of bringing that message to others. We represent the amazing, loving God who offers complete forgiveness and restoration to everyone who believes.

REFLECT & PRAY
God, thank You for not leaving me in a place of no hope, separated from You forever. Thank You that the sacrifice of Your beloved Son, Jesus, has provided the way for me to come to You.

What does God’s offer of reconciliation mean to you? How will you extend His offer to those who need to hear it today?

A key element of this important text is found in verse 20: “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.” Tyndale Bible Dictionary defines an ambassador as a “messenger or envoy officially representing a higher authority.” It explains that an ambassador in the Old Testament was “a messenger, envoy, or negotiator sent on a special, temporary mission as an official representative of the king, government, or authority who sent him.” This description gives us a valuable backdrop to the challenge to Paul (and to us) to be God’s ambassadors to our world. Our mission is to officially represent the highest of all possible authorities—the Creator of the universe—and to present His message to those we encounter in His name.

*THERE IS TOMORROW*

*Whenever you are dealing with people, you must always remember that there is tomorrow and you might néed them tomorrow. You may end up needing help from the people who are asking for your help today, so help as much as you can.*

*Life is like moving wheel, sometimes you are up and sometimes you are down. Sometimes we destroy the bridges that we might need to help us cross back tomorrow. Sometimes we treat people as though there is never going to be tomorrow. We sometimes act as though we will never need help from anyone. Remember there's tomorrow.*

*Joseph helped the cupbearer in prison and later the cupbearer connected Joseph with Pharaoh. Imagine how Portiphar's wife felt when she heard that Joseph was now the Governor of Egypt, after she had falsely accused him. The brother who sold Joseph away ended up being fed by him. Don't ever think of going to the extreme with your offenders, they might be rescuers tomorrow. Always remember that there is tomorrow and it will surely come.*

*The little help you give to people today, will profit you tomorrow.*
*May the good Lord touch your heart to live your life knowing that there is tomorrow.*

DARE TO LOOK FROM GOD'S PERSPECTIVE

Throughout history, there have been men and women who, in the face of impossible situations, have stood head and shoulders above others by accomplishing amazing feats when the odds were against them. Invariably, those who fit this description were people who resisted the status quo and achieved what everyone else said was impossible, who stood against mediocrity and defied its limitations. The Bible is filled with testimonies of men and women of this caliber.

Think about Moses' mother, who hid her son when the king ordered all newborn Hebrew boys to be thrown into the Nile to prevent the Hebrew population from outnumbering the Egyptians.
Then there was Moses, who wasn't satisfied to see the miracles God performed for the children of Israel; instead, Moses yearned to know the ways of God personally.
What about the seventeen-year-old shepherd boy David, who killed both a lion and a bear when the beasts attacked his flock?
Consider the courage of Rahab, who provided a safe haven to Hebrew spies, a risk that would have brought certain death if she'd been caught by the authorities.
And what inner strength Joseph revealed when he refused to retaliate against those who had betrayed him, even though he had the power and authority to do so!
Our faith is strengthened as we study these outstanding men and women who, despite all opposition, confronted impossibilities and resisted difficulties. Their testimonies encourage us to join the ranks of those who refuse to accept anything less than what God has promised. They dare us to look at our own situations from a totally different perspective, from God's perspective.

Whenever we limit ourselves to our own point of view, we become a hindrance to God's plan. Nehemiah is a great example of a man who didn't look at things from man's standpoint. When Nehemiah heard that the walls of Jerusalem were broken down, he wept. His heart was so troubled that he prayed and fasted over the condition of God's beloved city. He took the situation so seriously that he repented on behalf of the sins of God's people.

Then Nehemiah reminded God of His promise to them. As this man of God prayed, a desire to rebuild Jerusalem's neglected walls captured his heart.

But if Nehemiah were to carry out this mission, the king would have to grant him a leave of absence from his service. Nehemiah prayed, "O Lord, please hear my prayer! Listen to the prayers of those of us who delight in honoring you. Please grant me success now as I go to ask the king for a great favor. Put it into his heart to be kind to me" (NEHEMIAH 1:11 NLT). And guess what? The king granted Nehemiah's request because the hand of the Lord was upon this man whom He had called to rebuild Jerusalem's walls.

God needs more believers like Nehemiah who are so in touch with the condition of His people that they are willing to fast and pray, repent on behalf of the sins of others, and do whatever is necessary to see the situation changed!

Don’t be surprised when you face giants bigger than you’ve ever seen. That’s a sign you’re headed to a new level. You’ll be tempted to worry, feel overwhelmed. You have to go back and get your fuel. Remember what God has done. Thank Him for the Red Seas He’s parted. Thank Him for the giants you’ve defeated. Thank Him for the times He made a way. There are things that should have stopped you, but you can say like David, “By this, I know the Lord is on my side.”

Our fellowship in Samburu today didn't take place. This is where they use to meet but because of heavy rain, the place was a pool of water. I trust God to bless them with a tent or a decent place for worship. I can hardly sleep when I think of this situation!!
