TRUCK DRIVER SA RIZAL, PINATAY GAMIT ANG BACKHOE

Boluntaryong sumuko sa Tanay Police Station ang 48 anyos na backhoe operator na si Domi Floren Castillon matapos mapatay ang truck driver na si Melvin Tica Amoin, 48 anyos residente ng Barangay Tandang Kutyo, Tanay Rizal.

Ang insidente ay naganap sa construction area sa barangay Kutyo, Tanay, Rizal pasado alas dies ng umaga ngayong Abril 12, 2024.

Sa nakalap na inisyal na impormasyon ng REPORTERS TV Napagalaman na nagkaroon ng mainitang pagtatalo ang biktima at ang. suspect dahil sa remittance ng pera.

Hindi umano nagreremit ng pera si Amoin sa backhoe operator na si Castillon na sya rin foreman nito, kaya humantong sa pagpatay ng suspect sa biktima gamit ang backhoe.

Sa follow up report sa Tanay Police Station nasa lock up cell na ang suspect at inihahanda na ang kaukulang kasong isasampa laban sa kanya.

Akbay Kalikasan, CENRO, and Barangay Captain Mario Amante Lead Successful Tree Planting and Environmental Protection Initiative in General Trias, Cavite

GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite – [Nov. 24, 2023] – Akbay Kalikasan, in collaboration with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) and the dedicated leadership of Barangay Captain Mario Amante, orchestrated a highly successful tree planting and environmental protection activity in Pasong Kawayan 2, General Trias, Cavite.

The event, which drew an impressive attendance of over 200 participants, brought together a diverse group of individuals committed to fostering environmental sustainability. Notable attendees included representatives from the Philippine Navy, Philippine Army, Army Reerve Command (ARESCOM), Riders’ Groups, Women’s group, teachers, NGO’s, and the enthusiastic students of West Pasong Kawayan II Elementary School.

Under the guiding vision of Akbay Kalikasan, headed by its founding chairman Dr. Julio Castillo Jr., the community united to plant trees, creating a green legacy that will benefit both the present and future generations. The collaborative efforts extended beyond tree planting, encompassing insightful discussions on environmental protection strategies and fostering a greater sense of ecological responsibility.

“We are very grateful for the participants in today’s tree-planting and clean up drive, the success of our initiatives to preserve and protect the environment continues here in our community and in other areas,” Castillo said.

“Environmental protection is not a choice… it is our responsibility for a sustainable tomorrow. Let us all unite in pursuing this cause for the generations after us,” he added.

Pasong Kawayan II Barangay Captain Mario Amante played a pivotal role in ensuring the event’s success, showcasing exemplary leadership in mobilizing the community towards a shared environmental goal. His dedication to the cause of sustainable living was evident as he actively engaged with participants, emphasizing the importance of collective action in preserving our natural resources.

The diverse range of participants underscored the broad support for environmental initiatives, highlighting the unity within the community.
