Interesting billing. Although Jane's started in the 80s they are definitely known as a 90s band. L&R put out music in the 90s but are definitely known as an 80s band. The last time I saw Jane's Addiction was when they toured with Nine Inch Nails. They were great. Last time I saw Love & Rockets was in the early 90s. They ruled. This should be an interesting show.

British avant-garde musical group Art of Noise had two top 40 Billboard hits in the U.S. in the 80s with "Paranoimia" (feat. Max Headroom) and with their interpretation of the Prince song "Kiss" (feat. Tom Jones). The band broke new ground with their use of electronics, computers and sampling in their music.

Anyone who remembers the film Boogie Nights may remember Dirk Diggler aspired to become a recording artist. Here is a real life Dirk Diggler (p**n star Tom Byron) attempting the same thing in the 1980s. Aside from anything recorded by hockey commentator Don Cherry, this is possibly the worst thing I have ever heard.

I like to support artists/bands by buying their physical products and merch via Bandcamp. Unfortunately, I've experienced a few disappointments in recent months. One CD was delayed by 4 months and then arrived without a case. On a different occasion I ordered a t-shirt but was charged for two shirts and the t-shirt never arrived. Strike 3 = there has been no response to my emails. I have shown patience but it's three strikes and I'm out.
