This past weekend my parents were in town for an early Christmas and we had the chance to experience Lone Star Lights . The kids loved it and we are so thankful to partner with them at for our youth camps! They also have a super cool zipline but sadly the boys were not feeling it. 😂 The sledding was a HUGE hit though!

This is what my life looks like as a SAHM and a business owner. I get to work from anywhere (yes, even Voodoo Doughnut ) It’s not always easy bringing my kiddos along with me but man I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🥹
•
They say enjoy the years while your children are young and I believe that more than ever now that my oldest is already 6years! 😭
•
I used to think it was impossible for me to ever start pursuing what I love while being a mom of 3 and with my husband traveling during certain seasons. But the more you focus on your why, the more you are willing to do what it takes. Even if that means warming up your coffee 20x before it’s finished, staying up late hours, getting up early, choosing creating content or coming up with new ideas over watching The Office…(okay, I learned how to do both!💀) or just learning better time management.

YOU WILL DO WHAT IT TAKES!
•
Some days are MUCH harder than others and I will be the first to admit it. I will also say the reward is not only being able to do what I love to provide for my family but using the gifts God gave me to help other brands & businesses grow to help their families. It truly is such a blessing.

So last night, I was texting a friend. My *best friend* to be exact. And we both are moms trying to do what’s best for our family while we pursue our own businesses (plus take care of the home, kids, husbands and any other motherly tasks we get to do). It’s a lot at times. Most of the time. That is why I can now see how easily us moms lose who we are. Who God created us to be.
•
I mean before we entered this role of motherhood, we could so thoughtlessly blurt out what it is we loved to do. The things that made us smile. We actually had “hobbies” and we felt like we had much more time to spend with God in the mornings. To be filled up and overflowing with His wisdom, knowledge and love.
•
But once we hit mothership, everything changed.
•
Priorities were thrown all over the place, sleep became almost impossible, cries, screams and fighting became the soundtrack to our lives. Our quiet time with God became extinct and well our poor husbands had to endure the lack of affection and communication simply because we become too tired.
•
So as my BFF (I think that still means best friend forever…😅 now and days you just can’t be too sure.) were sharing with each other about how we have been feeling, she just drops some major truth bombs and some super rad changes that she has been making with her own family and then it clicked.🫰🏽
•
Because we as moms become so distracted and overwhelmed by the daily tasks of being a mom, we forgot the MOST important thing.
•
👉🏽PUT GOD FIRST👈🏽
•
Without Him we have NOTHING.
Without Him, we are NOTHING.
Without Him, we can acheive NOTHING.
•
Sacrifice is a part of life that many of us don’t enjoy because it’s uncomfortable. It requires energy that we believe we don’t have. But that my friend is FALSE.
•
Sacrificing an extra 30mins - 1 hour of sleep to devote yourself to God’s word will do WONDERS for not only you, but your family as well.
•
We CANNOT pour out into those around us if our cups are empty. (Read that again.)
•
So this morning, I woke up 30 mins earlier then normal and spent time with my Creator, and would you look at this….

You see, God’s word never fails and it never comes back void. His prupose above ALL else is to serve Him with our whole being. Once we begin to sit at His feet for every little thing (yes, even the “learning to wipe their own butt” phase) God will and already has given us exactly what we need for each day of our lives. But it is up to US to choose to excercise what is already placed in us.
•
So today, choose HIM.
And every day after that, KEEP CHOOSING GOD.

Neeh, I’m just messing with you! Pretty much if you are a business owner and have already hired a SMM or CM (content manager) then hopefully they are already CONTENT BATCHING. And if not, maybe it’s time to consider your options.
•
Content Batching is like the golden rule for a SMM or CM. It will allow your business to have content planned for weeks or even months in advance. And if social trends begin to shift, then you ADJUST, not start completely over. Use what you already created but now, utilize it to what is trending. This is the part where you would hear someone in the class group say “Work smarter, not harder 😉.” Haha. It is very much true though.
•

You sure do learn a lot when you have a family of your own. It’s trying, sressful, magical, joyful and so much more. But when you have your own family, you will do what you need to in order to make sure your kids are taken care of. They become your WHY.

God blessed me with a wonderful husband and 3 amazing kids. I prayed for a long time to have this family and I wouldn’t trade this life for any other.

At times it’s easy to become overwhelmed or overcome with fear. But then I get to choose to sit at the Lord’s feet and thank Him for bringing us this far and blessing us beyond measure.

Simple explanation | An individual in an organization trusted with monitoring, contributing to, filtering, measuring and otherwise guiding the social media presence of a brand, product, individual or corporation.

Seems pretty understandable right?

Well that may sound fine & dandy but running a social or socials for a business, brand, entrepreneur, or anything in between is so much more to me than what is stated above.

What I believe sets me apart from most, is my heart to serve others, (Yeah, yeah, might sound cheesy but it’s true) & I don’t say that lightly. When I take on the role to represent a small business or an individual who is trying to grow their online following, I put my whole heart into it. 🥹

Choosing to push myself into new things has always been sort of hard. I mean the thought of learning something new is super cool but actually doing it sometimes takes a lot of “umph”.

That is waht I gravitate to most of the time. What started in my phone recording the smallest clips to what now has and still is blooming into a passion that I never want to lose. I have to choose everyday to keep pursuing what I love regardless if there are people out there who are 100x better than me. Because truth is, everyone starts somewhere and only YOU have the power to work hard or give up.

I am truly blessed that God has instilled in me a passion and fight to pursue that passion. I could NOT have come this far without Him.

This was hands down the dopest session I had. (Besides my pumkin & ghost) The adrenaline from the adult classes at Global Martial Arts is INSANE! This was only ONE of the two classes I shot and they offer far more.
