I always thought it was a weird thing when people would post the cash they had. 😅

But here I am sharing with you all that February 15th I dropped off a few items at a local consignment store to “test the waters”. I wasn’t sure I would want to consign anything again but if it went well I would continue to consign.

This particular store gives me 60 days for my items to sell then I can take them back or I can let them keep them. So far I’ve made $28.94. I have 21 more days for the rest of my items to sell. I’ll be doing this again for sure.

Since you all won’t be getting any videos with no voice, I would like to share with you some insights for the month so far.

This month alone on Poshmark I have made $675.
Last week I made $415.88 of that number.
I’ve sold 18 items.
That means my average item price is $37.50.
That means I’m making an average of $56.25 a day while I spend time with my kids and be a present parent.

There is money to be made, but I’m kicking butt this month. 💕

(Also friendly reminder while I’ve made this much I don’t get paid until my buyer accepts their items. That means I am waiting through shipping time and they have three days after delivery to accept the item.)

Actively working on my very first What Sold video for all of you to watch! While I’m working on that I wanted to share with everyone one of my goals for 2024.

I started my reselling journey with primarily women’s clothing. There is a whole market of things out there to learn. Something I want to learn more of this year is hard goods.

So here is one of my first hard good finds from this year. Certified International Judy Phipps cookware! Funky sells. I paid roughly $28 for the entire set, and could easily triple my investment.

Hey friends, it’s me Beth! 💕

For those that don’t know me I wanted to do a bit of an introduction.

This April will be my two year anniversary into this reselling journey. 🎊

What started out a sort of necessity has turned into a full blown passion, and secondary income for our family. It’s something anyone can do and I’m excited to share that passion with lots of other people.

How did I get here? Truthfully, I landed and lost my dream job all in an eight week period. Then I hit a nice hard rock bottom.

I am a very big believer that the universe will give to you whatever it is you really need. That’s why after two back to back losses (and a very expensive degree) I walked away from the finance industry completely.

I don’t remember exactly how I thought of it, but I remember pulling into a Salvation Army one day and just sourcing. Pretty sure the universe was on my side because that evening I listed a pair of Vuori pants, and in two days I made $60.

Since that day I’ve spent the last two years learning everything I can about reselling. A huge shout out and appreciation to my all time favorite resellers and . Without them I would not have the education or courage to start sharing the things I have learned.

Another shout out to who happens to be a local Ohio reseller who I’ve learned a lot of hard goods sourcing from.

I look forward to sharing more things with all of you.
