Exploring the beautiful island Sri Lanka by tuktuk part 2

In this episode we continue our travels by tuktuk, this time it's the center part and the east of Sri Lanka.
We start this trip in Ella, for us this was the most beautiful part of Sri Lanka. The nature is absolutely stunning right here. You are surrounded by mountains and you can hike forever. After exploring Ella we went to Adam's Peak. The biggest mountain you can climb in Sri Lanka. This was probably the hardest climb we ever did. After all the hikes, we went to Kandy to relax a little. A beautiful town, but maybe a little to crowded to relax. Next up in the video is Sigiriya, with it's famous Lion Rock. After Sigiriya we had a terrible accident with our tuktuk on our way to Nilaveli; Lisa fell out of it on the road while driving. But as you will see in the video everything's fine! But that was the end of our trip in Sri Lanka because we just had to recover after that accident.

We immediately fell in love with this island. It is so diverse and has such friendly people. We highly recommend renting a tuktuk. it just gives you so much freedom and a chance to visit places where no tourists are.

Everything for a view like this! The Pidurangala Rock is only a 30 min hike, not expensive at all and less crowded than the (more popular) Sigirya Rock. Also, you have an amazing view of the Sigiriya Rock! And the hike itself is not that hard, meanwhile you see a few Buddha statues! The nature here is unbelievable 😍 We definitely recommend to do this!
We would visit this place again, for sure!

A throwback to our amazing experience with our tuktuk! Exploring Sri Lanka with your own tuktuk is a whole other way of travelling. You get to see so many places with breathtaking views! We enjoyed our stay in Nuwara Eliya, a place full of pure nature 😍

Another amazing spot in Sri Lanka! This stunning bridge was build in 1921, already 99 years old!
You can walk on the 24 meters high bridge, but be careful when the train passes. A train track in the middle of the jungle, amazing!
Definitely a very nice place to visit. We loved it!

Little Adam’s Peak! Such a fun hike to do. You can hike to the top in less than an hour. Meanwhile, you get blessed with the most breathtaking views. Sri Lanka is amazing and you never get enough of the precious nature you see in every corner. We made memories that will last forever in this inspiring country full of adventure, nature and beauty

A whole other part of India, relaxing in Mumbai, Goa and Kerala.

In this episode we travel trough the south of India. We start our journey in Mumbai and go all the way down to Kerala via Goa. This episode is more about enjoying the more relaxed parts of India. We absolutely loved it! Goa is such an amazing place with good food and very chill vibes, while Kerala has such a beautiful nature! Definitely do both if you have the time, because you will see a whole other part of India!

Next stop: Galle Fort! On our way we stopped at the beautiful beaches and took some good swims! So refreshing 😋
One tip: it is not allowed to fly your drone at the Galle Fort. Otherwise the army will give you a call 😅 Luckily, we didn’t understand a lot of what he was saying so we just left without any problems 🇱🇰

We enjoyed this train ride so much. As much as all the other small things during our travels. Having a snack in a park, watching the locals working on their own way. Seeing children play with the only toys they have. Experiences like these and this train ride really open up your eyes. Search for adventure! Live your life! But always remember to be safe. You can’t be careful enough. Take care of each other! Because traveling with just the two of us make us realize how much you need someone else in certain situations.

We started our adventure in Sri Lanka by exploring the capital city, Colombo. After 2 days of exploring we left colombo to galle, famous for its beaches.
We love the beautiful parks around Colombo and were lucky to take this shot of the Samadhi statue of buddha without crashing the drone.
At one moment there were more then 500 birds chasing it...

A first taste of India, exploring New Delhi, Agra and Varanasi.

In this episode we explore the northern part of India. We pay a visit to New Delhi, Agra and Varanasi. We visited a lot of temples and had a first taste of the delicious Indian food! We also saw our first wonder of the world in Agra of this trip; The Taj Mahal. We spent around 10 days spread over these 3 beautiful and inspiring cities. The culture shock was big, but that was what we wanted! Definitely come here once, because it's an unique part in the world!

We stopped our lives in Belgium and decided to travel the world!

In this episode we introduce ourself and show you our plan for the upcoming year. We're going to travel around 3 continents; Asia, North America and Latin America. In 15 months we want to visit 30 countries. We decided to film the whole trip and make a little documentary/vlog about it. So we can share this amazing adventure with you guys and of course have an awesome memory for ourselves!
