The energy of a river seems to charge me in a way nothing else can.
Growing up I spent a LOT of time in the Chattahoochee River and on its shores. As an adult by some magic I’ve found myself yet again on the banks of a river.. the Banana River in Cocoa Beach. And every time I’m back in Atlanta I return by instinct or some inescapable fate back to the Chattahoochee.
I think I was placed here on purpose, like the flowing river echoes the blood flowing through my own veins. The river is a constant friend that reminds me of the ever-changing nature of life and the importance of being in flow 😍
Today I woke up and the river looked so nice and it called to me. I spent hours out there on my paddleboard. I feel thankful and decided to pay tribute with the first three “river songs” that popped into my head:
