The "Ankr" protocol was hacked recently. The hacker was able to mint roughly 6 quadrillion aBNBc. Otherwise amounting to $5 million.

Binance actually paused withdrawals of this token until the issue was solved.

After years of waiting it looks like the Ethereum community is going to get their wish.

ETH 2.0 or also known as "The Merge"is on the horizon. This means the ethereum blockchain will go from a proof-of-work consensus model to a proof-of-stake model.

This is expected to increase TPS or transactions per second and also lower transaction costs. Transaction costs have been the pitfall of Ethereum's rise.

Home to some of the most prestigious NFTs "OpenSea" is testing the idea of a new kind of NFT marketplace.

This marketplace is called "Seaport". The cool thing about this particular marketplace is the barter system they plan to have

For example, let's say i want to purchase a Bored Ape NFT that will cost me 100 eth. Instead of paying 100 eth to the seller we can come to an agreement for a trade.

Let's say I have a doodles NFT that is worth 40 eth. I can take that, trade it to the BAYC seller and then pay them 60 eth out of pocket instead of 100 eth.

I think this is a great step forward. It is my belief this will bring a little more liquidity to the NFT space a whole.

The London hard fork only went into effect 9 months ago

I think this can tell us two things 1.) The ethereum blockchain is being used A LOT 2.) The hard fork is working the way it was intended to, a way for us to reduce supply.
