These are the faces of true innocence. 🐾 A few days ago I made a post on the collateral damage of the Russian invasion on Ukraine. 🇺🇦 Here’s one more attempt of mine to urge you again to support Ukrainians on their defense against the tyranny of the Russian army and Putin. 🚫🪖

It’s not only humans. Animals suffer too! 😔

Dozens of thousands of animals have been abandoned amidst the war, and many more thousands have been evacuated alongside their families through the borders of Poland and other countries. Please bring your pets with you! You don’t need any special permits or documents to cross with them. 🙏

Many thanks to the true heroes of Ukraine, to the people that are making a stand, that are fighting for their country, that are protecting all precious life. 🙌

Thank you .crew .sanctuary .sanctuary .sanctuary for staying behind and taking care of the animals that are confused, injured, and homeless. They deserve an opportunity to survive, despite mankind being… well… mankind. ❤️

Animals also suffer during wars, not only people. 🚫 🐕 🐈

Perhaps you didn’t know this but 8,000,000 horses, donkeys and mules died during WW1. 🐴

It gives me hope to see the efforts of people safeguarding their pets as they flee from their Ukrainian homes. I’m glad the animals aren’t being left behind, despite people being in a rush to abandon their houses. 👏

I hope this nightmare ends soon. For the sake of those people, and all those voiceless animals. 😔

I also wish more “influencers” were giving coverage about these news and finally put their reach into proper use. You know, doing something useful for once… 🤡

Unlike WW1 and WW2, today we have the internet. LET’S USE IT! We can report on last minute news. We can put pressure on governments. We can unite as citizens of the world. 🇺🇦

It’s so saddening to see what Russia is doing right now to Ukraine. I lived in that region of the world for a few years (during my travels around the globe) and I got to visit inside the Kremlin a few occasions while living in Moscow. Such warm, beautiful people in both countries. They don’t deserve a war either, and I bet average Russian citizens don’t want war either. This is between Govs, leave the people safe and alone! Nobody should suffer because of politics. 🚫

PLEASE! Let’s bring peace back. WWIII is NOT worth any amount of power, resources or lives.

Much strength to my Ukrainian friends. Stay strong, the world supports you. 🇺🇦❤️

Testing out the iPhone 13 Pro Max to the edge. Funny story: I took this shot while stranded on the road during one of my travels, in the absolutely middle of nowhere. 🌌

In this shot you can see the Milky Way on the bottom portion, and the Pleiades star cluster right in the center (also known as the Seven Sisters). These stars form part of the Ta**us Constellation, who is depicted by ancient mythology as fighting Orion in the sky.

I’m amazed at the camera capabilities our smartphones have lately. 🤯 More iPhone shots coming soon.
