S Club 4 take on Pedal, Paddle, Peak

WE DID IT!!

Firstly, I'd like to thank those of you that kindly donated, and gave support for us on our Pedal, Paddle, Peak challenge in the Lake District.

We can proudly say that on Saturday, as a team of 4, our legs brutally cycled 30 miles of the hilly Lake District, enjoying the downhills, much more than the up. We then encountered several shoulder aches, and unintentional U-turns whilst paddling 2 miles across Ullswater Lake in the
wind and rain, before we embraced the steep incline of Helvellyn, having reaching half of the 3,117ft elevation within the first hour, to only see nothing at the top!!

Having the last big push on the bikes back to the finish line, we're pleased to have completed all this in 8hrs, 55 minutes!

As our donations pot is still open for a few more weeks, we'd love and appreciate any additional support towards Muscular Dystrophy.

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to those that attended our charity quiz on Friday!

We hope everyone enjoyed their evening! Little did we know, our raffle would soon turn into an auction for Ca-ked brownies!

Thank you to the Lyons Community Centre for the venue and to our supporters for the generous raffle donations.

We’re set up and busy already. Lots of little hands have had our little paint and pamper session outside H.J Nails & Beauty in Hitchin, with all donations in aid of Muscular Dystrophy.

If you’ve got a little one who’d love to have their nails done, pop on by, we’re here 12-3pm.

Amazing turnout from todays cake sale.

Hi all,

Mum’s back with her next challenge, and has recruited 3 more people! This time, we’re tackling the Pedal, Paddle, Peak challenge in the Lake District.

A 9 hour total round trip, consisting of a 15 mile bike ride, 2 mile canoe, hike Helvellyn, finishing off with another 15 mile bike ride back to base, all in aid of our chosen charity; Muscular Dystrophy!

We’ll be holding various fundraising events in the lead up to this, and we’d love your support along the way too! Come and see us this Saturday, for that pre or post workout cake and coffee!
