Bubba loved it! The wind and all the bird sound just made his day! Zariah is a homebody and was ready for naptime so she was not as smiley & it was windy lol she doesn’t like the wind 😂 or other kids for that matter 🤷🏾♀️ but she did amazing and didn’t cry once! Thank you God for such a beautiful day and to our tribe that came out! Huge shout out to their nurses Crystal & Shyanne for volunteering to be buddies and help out as well as one off duty nurse Samantha & her family that came to support and of course Nurse/Coach Jessica! Huge thanks to Dad, my father-in-law, who showed up to support as well as their big brother, Andrew that drove two hours home from college just to see their first game! And of course, to my amazing husband, who got out there and had a great time being Elijah’s buddy! He may have overdid it a little bit, but it was a ton of fun. Especially when Elijah took his shirt off & threw it😂! With Sam you get all the lovey touchy feels as well since she is very empathetic and truly cares for our family. BUT she also has this crazy sense of humor and is makes it feel like a night out on the town but being very responsible of course lol. She definitely lightens up the atmosphere and makes us laugh like crazy. When you constantly have people in your home, it is important to be very comfortable with them and being around her it’s just like being around family since we have a crazy hilarious family! Jordan is definitely sweet but the reason I chose unique as well is because upon meeting her you don’t just get what you see. I seriously thought Jordan was just going to be a sweet person, but had no idea how many layers there were to this beautiful young lady! It never ceases to amaze me how fun she is with such a God fearing presence. To be so young, she has such great work ethics and literally was having contractions five minutes apart and completed the last two hours of her shift. Definitely tough as nails 💪🏻😆🥰! Again, lol L A Y E R S!!! Thank you so much for being a part of our family. You have no idea just how much you mean to us 🥰

Because of the twins complex medical diagnoses, they qualify for 24/7 around the clock, nursing. All of their shifts are not covered, but for the ones that are, these ladies make our lives so much better! We already go with little to no sleep, so I cannot even imagine if it was not for them what shape we would be in. Although I am only showing videos of five of the ladies, we have a new nurse that just started approximately two months or less ago, and her name is Rhegan! When I tell ya, she is more than fabulous I absolutely mean it! I’ve always been the type of mom to peak in and watch my kids sleep or even kiss their foreheads while they’re sleeping. Sister got to come home yesterday evening after a late discharge and stand still traffic for about 40 minutes but she did amazing! She was worn out by the time we got home but I swear she makes it look easy. Though she does have some really hard times, especially during diaper changes, turns and transfers as they hurt the most but she’s the real MVP! The other day I listed the procedures, she had, in medical terms but did not think to say exactly what they were. Basically, she had the tops of her femur’s (thigh bones) cut off that lead to the hip socket. They were put into a different position and reattached with plates and screws. Then she had her entire right hip socket rebuilt. Then she had both hip abductor muscles lengthened. So she has multiple incisions, and some of them quite large. With all that being said she’s still doing better than grown men with manflu 🤷🏾♀️😂🤦🏾♀️! She was so happy to see her Bubba, and he gave her a kiss and smiled which, of course lighted her face up. She is super jumpy, but doing much better than she was in the hospital. She has a long road to recovery as she cannot even start therapy for at least four weeks with very limited range of motion activities. No standing until six weeks and so the hard work will not even start for a couple of months even though the healing process will not be complete until the end of four months but as you know, it’s surgery, you never feel like you are totally back to yourself until many many months later.
