APO Healthy Bones Race
To the Organization the safety of our participants is a priority. Due to the red alert issued for this weekend, by the Portuguese Institute of Maritime and Atmosphere (IPMA) on maritime agitation it was necessary to change the course of the Healthy Bones Race APO test.
Effective kickoff will be held at 08:00 a.m. Sunday at Sea Life. However, the test will have changes in the distance and its route, the same will no longer have 10 km, but rather 11.5 km significantly. This change is due to the fact that the part of the course affected by this alert by the IPMA - the seafront of the city of Porto - does not have comfort and safety conditions to host the two races, the EDP Marathon of Porto and the APO Healthy Bones Race.
The Port Marathon is an event that celebrates 19 editions this year and aims to provide a special and unique day for everyone who takes part in it. The APO Healthy Bones Race celebrates its fifth edition of the Port Marathon this year, and therefore we cannot allow weather changes to ruin the party that brings together thousands of participants, whether more competitively or not. The organisation wishes all the athletes a good test and most of all hopes that they have a safe time.

APO Healthy Bones Race
The safety of our participants is a priority for the organization. Due to the red alert issued for this weekend by the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) regarding sea turbulence, it was necessary to change the route of the APO Corrida dos Ossos Saudáveis
In effect, the start will remain at 08:00 on Sunday morning at Sea Life. However, there will be changes to the distance and route of the race, which will no longer be 10 kilometres, but 11.5 kilometres. This change is due to the fact that the part of the route affected by the IPMA alert - Porto's seafront - does not have the safety and confort conditions to host the two races, the EDP Porto Marathon and the APO Corrida dos Ossos Saudáveis
The Porto Marathon is an event that celebrates its 19th edition this year and aims to provide a special and unique day for everyone who takes part. This year, the APO Corrida dos Ossos Saudáveis is celebrating its 5th edition at the Porto Marathon and because of this, we can't allow weather changes to spoil the party that brings thousands of participants together, whether in a more competitive way or not. The organization wishes all the runners a good race and hopes above all that they have a safe time.
