Here's wishing a fantastic 2025 to everyone! 🎉 Muddy Ruttzz Youtube has grown way beyond my expectations, and that's all thanks to you!
Big changes are coming to Muddy Ruttzz this year, including some awesome new camera equipment that will allow us to create even better videos.
We're also excited to announce that we're moving our home base to Las Cruces, New Mexico! This will open up a whole new world of adventures for us, and we can't wait to share them with you. We'll be exploring new trails, trying new activities, and going places Muddy Ruttzz has never been before.

Death Valley almost claimed our trailer! Installed a Mopar 2" lift on the Gladiator Rubicon Ecodiesel and wanted her to put it to the test on Chloride Cliffs. Told my wife to gun it up this steep rocky trail... BIG mistake! The Exventure XV-3 nearly went full rodeo on us. That tire was WAY off the ground. Recovery would've been a nightmare. Guess we'll take it a bit easier next time!

Chloride Cliffs, Death Valley. We towed our Xventure XV-3 up the mountain to about 4000' elevation, the wind whipping around us as we climbed. With endless trails and abandoned mines beckoning to be explored, we decided to ditch the trailer and unleash the Gladiator. It was like leaving a family member behind. As the Gladiators diesel motor propelled us up the hill a chilling realization hit me... I had not set a waypoint on my Garmin to re-locate the trailer. Panic started to set in! The roads all looked the same. Finally, relief washed over me as the XV-3 came back into view in the distance. It was patiently waiting, ready for more adventures. After hooking it up to the Jeep we took a couple more wrong turns and I got my off-road trailer backing practice in. Eventually we found our way down the mountain following the trail back to Daylight Pass Road, then to Furnace Creek and a awesome Thanksgiving Buffet Dinner at the famous Oasis restaurant. What a incredible day of adventure!
