Chris Csoka is the chairman of Chilliwack Bowls of Hope. They have an army of volunteers who deliver hot soup (made fresh each day) to schools around the community at lunchtime. They make sure no child is without a healthy hot meal at lunch time. They deliver to nearly every school in the community and are serving hundreds of bowls of soup every single day. The community service that Chris and his team demonstrate makes them all Unsung Heroes in our books!
Unsung Hero - Jane Ullyot, Founder of Starfish Backpack Program
Jane Ullyot is a true Unsung Hero. She founded an organization called The Starfish Backpack Program. It sends backpacks (and now caseloads) of nutritious food home to local families in need. It is an anonymous program, free of charge, and fully volunteer and donor operated. Anyone who needs help only needs to ask. Hear Jane's amazing story in this video.
