“I Have A Dream…” | His vision served as a catalyst to conversations of today.

His sacrifice, along with many others, got the world to rethink tomorrow. While we’re not at the pure destination of equality, justice and peace, we are inching forward.

He used what he could…his voice.

To honor Dr. King, we use this platform to create a space where the full diaspora of the black experience can be SEEN, HEARD, and CELEBRATED.

How has the legacy of Dr. King impacted your life? Let’s hear your thoughts in the comments 👇🏾

We Stand in Solidarity ✊🏾 Beyond the Americanized view of Thanksgiving, we must recognize that November is a month of healing and reflection. November is also National Native American Heritage Month.

In particular, Nov. 25 (Thanksgiving Day) is also The National Day of Mourning) and Nov. 26 is The National Native American Heritage Month. While some celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, we also recognize that some in our community may not do so. We encourage you to learn more about the Indigenous perspective about Thanksgiving and engage in dialogue with those who you may gather with this week. Understand that for some, the partial narratives of how America came to be fail to acknowledge the truth behind the traumatic events that negatively impacted Native Americans, their ancestors and the stories told. Furthermore, not telling the full truth of the history between Native Americans and the early colonists only perpetuates stereotypes and encourages the erasure of identity and culture.

We Stand in Solidarity and encourage you to learn more about Native American History. Check the link in our bio to aid your search for the full history and to learn about Native American culture.

We Stand in love and unity because we are here to Connect, Empower and Uplift.

Stay royal fam. ✊🏾 👑
