We haven’t posted a podcast or really anything in a very long time! We thought it best to take a step back because of everything happening in the world. Since our last podcast we have - sold and bought a house, moved into our new home, celebrated lots of CoVID birthdays AND our 15 year anniversary. We have taught (Ramine) online and tried to help our kids learn (Nicole) via distance learning - epic fail! We are navigating all these crazy changes, but still doing it together. Oh and we now have a pool with an outdoor bar, so this has been our saving grace. This and some wine and Netflix and spiked seltzer oh and walks without the kids. We kept waiting for things to get back to normal. Alas, it seems it’s time to embrace the “New Normal.” We have so much to say.. so stay tuned for a new episode of A Dash of Us!

After a series of illnesses, unfinished projects, messing up kid activity schedules, and staring at a white Christmas tree each day, we are throwing are hands up in the air and declaring February a lost cause. We are working on Curbing the Chaos, but sometimes we think the chaos is winning. We are also talking about whether or not to turn that Christmas tree into a year-round "holiday tree" and whether or not it's normal to have a favorite bathroom to use in your own home. This is real talk by a real couple – a teacher and Realtor – raising four kids and a few fur babies in the suburbs outside Washington DC. A Dash of Us is a series of conversations about nothing and everything at the same time. This is Date Night 2.0.

Together we have been keeping it real for more than 15 years. Nicole Dash is a Realtor and Ramine Dash is a Teacher. We both come from big loving and loud families. We also have a lot to say. Our kids aren’t perfect and neither are we. Luckily, our love and dedication to family is pretty strong and this is what gets us through each day.
