Exploring the system and UI design of Jack Studio projects
In our final instalment of our Jack Studio trilogy series, we round out our time with the studio by chatting to Dylan da Silva and Claudia Ferreira, the UI and system design specialists. We explore how they work together and compliment each others skillset, similarly to Claire and Paul. One thing we’ve definitely learnt form these episodes is how highly functioning small design studio teams can be when everyone is on the same page, has seamless team efforts on the same projects, and the organisational structure has been ironed out. We also touched briefly on AI in design, and how it could possibly be used as a tool and starting block instead of simply replacing designers, before circling back to explore some of Dylan and Claudia’s past projects within the Studio.
Exploring past projects with Paul Loots and Claire Keet of Jack Studio
Our second episode in our Jack Studio trilogy series is here, and what a conversation we had! Following on from our previous episode with Founder and CEO Sabeeha Banubhai, we now get to chat with Paul Loots and Claire Keet, who both play vital roles in the studio regarding branding, product and operations. We explored the details of the Studio’s project management and workflow, even how they work towards only taking on clients and projects they know align with their vision. We also talk about how the studio aims to grow their business, not by simply taking on more clients, but by diving deeper into the projects they take on a providing a truly value-focussed well thought-out end product. Watch until the end as Paul and Claire each walk us through one of their favourites projects and some of the challenges involved.
