Stacey Abrams: (): Stacey Yvonne Abrams is an American politician, lawyer, voting rights activist, and author who served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2007 to 2017, serving as minority leader from 2011 to 2017, Who ran for Governor in 2018 & 2022. Stacey was also the first Black Woman to become the first African-American female major-party gubernatorial nominee in the United States. Currently Stacey serves as the As Inaugural Ronald W. Walters Endowed Chair for Race and Black Politics at Howard University.

Carnita Atwater: (): Ran for Governor of Tennessee in 2021, served as a community activist that wanted to see change in her state. she amassed 56,061 votes in the Aug. 4 gubernatorial primary. The loss, however, fueled Atwater’s desire to step back into the political arena. On Aug. 5, a day after the election, Atwater formally announced her intentions via Facebook live to run for president of the United States in 2024.
