Track back to 2007/2008, the music industry in Australia and globally had changed immensely - virtually overnight sales of physical CD’s was dropping fast with on-line buying platforms becoming viral, music royalties were shrinking. Up until this point, I was a member of several part-time Brisbane based bands including The Swirl, Persia, Versey and Beats Me, all very good 80/90’s entertaining outfits of the day (a book could be written about these times plus the people we met along the way). During this period I had also written many songs and recorded some demo’s recording studios, my home studio.
To this day, the songs have been performed via artists within Australia, Asia and Europe and the ‘She was Gone’ musical performed in Cheltenham UK, in addition an on going performance deal is being negotiated.
Two demo albums include ‘Logic in Love’ yakistar music 2007 and ‘She was Gone’ yakistar music 2008.
All songs written, performed and recorded by yours truly.
