This is a different sort of TITR episode. Just three dudes (but mainly Jay and Brian) bantering around about Rock and Roll.

Brian Zahn is a pastor and writer. Jay Newman is a pitmaster and BBQ artist. Both are avid students of music. Preston Sprinkle loves Rock and Roll and the history behind it all.

As far as theology goes, they don't really talk about a theology of music, but Jay does give a rather brilliant overview of why Rock music is theologically necessary toward the end of their conversation. Artists they discuss include Led Zepplin, Bob Dylan, Rush, Elvis, U2, Nirvana, Eric Clapton, Motley Cru, and many others.

Culture, the Election, and Rethinking Christian Community in a Digital Age w/ Paul VanderKlay

Paul is a failed Calvinist minister. Actually he's a very faithful and thoughtful CRC pastor and theological cultural critic who brings to bear loads of pastoral and theological wisdom to his ongoing analysis of our cultural moment.

This conversation with Preston Sprinkle is very wide ranging, as they discuss the post-election period and how the church can navigate our very unique—and in many ways, groundbreaking—historical situation.

NJada experienced gender dysphoria as a teenager and began transitioning at the age of 19.

As he continue to pursue the path of transitioning, he felt like he could never fully "scratch the itch" of wanting to be a woman.

Preston Sprinkle's conversation w/ NJada today is about his story of detransitioning and how he's learned to manage his dysphoria by accepting the fact that he's male.
