Finally, the highly anticipated Deepcool CH160 mini ITX build that I was always wanted to do. Was an instant favourite, but its availability in BD was too uncertain. Fortunately, I saw it creating quite the buzz around the BD ITX community, so I hope other brands will start bringing in more Itx components at affordable prices. Personally, I request Deepcool Bangladesh to bring in the Vertical stand for this case as well as the mesh side panel which will allow users to install a 240 liquid cooler on this. (As is, its possible to mount very specific 240 rads, but not recommended for beginners)

Most of the parts here are from another PC and I just needed the case. Also I am presenting the build in Pictures instead of a Video as the latter is too much of a hassle for me xD Pretty happy with the build, I just wish I had a bigger Air Cooler to take full advantage of the case... DeepCool *wink wink*

Heard a lot about this game and finally got the chance to try it out. It's only been a few days since I started playing, and my goodness, I'm surprised by how fun it is!

This is currently one of my favorite FPS games that I play (alongside OW2). "The Finals" feels kinda like Apex, but I don't like Apex that much, as BR games aren't my forte.

First time Participated in an event like this.
Best of BD PC Battle 2023 hosted by PC Builder Bangladesh
Was one of the 10 finalists in BD at the 100-300k budget bracket and ended placing 7th with my Star Wars, Darth Vader-themed mini Itx Build named "Vader's Lunchbox".

Not bad for something attended purely on a whim and zero prep :v

Finally, put meaning behind the term "PC/Tech Enthusiast" in my Bio. :3 Was really amazed at how much the crowd loved my build, even so as to some of them coming up and saying mine was their favourite along with even Ananya Zaman saying it was his favorite out of the top 10. The event and meeting with some talented modders inspired me a lot to make my builds better as well. Hopefully will pull off a top 3 if there is a next time 😛

So I modded my friend's Razer Keyboard!

It was a Huntsman TE TKL keyboard which has seen better days. The best example of a prime "GAMING" keyboard. Expensive, looks nice, but feels, and sounds like crap. So I did something about the latter bit.

My thoughts- Razer keyboards are really weird with their proprietary technology. They really dont want you messing with their boards. The stabilizers were definitely weird, but the switches were on a whole other level.

The stabs can be modded quite easily, albeit it's a bit tricky with the separate stems and all.

The switches have individual stabilizers which technically are supposed to make them more stable but kinda end up making them worse. The worst part of modding a regular keyboard is modding the 4-5 stabs already. Now imagine the perils of a stab on every single switch..... Apparently you cant disassemble a razer switch without breaking them so I didn't risk it. The stock switch stabs are rattle af and the keyboard sounds like a jhunjhuni when shaken. To solve this I tightened the switch stabs and applied some l**e to the contact points. This improved the switch sound and feel by a great margin. Also, you can fully l**e the switch by taking it apart making it even better, which I did for the modifier switches.

Finally, time to put on some keycaps. I wanted to get him non-shine through PBT keycaps but he wanted RGB. Pudding keycaps were the way to go but I was worried because Razer is known to use a non-standard bottom row so compatible keycaps would be very expensive. But luckily The Huntsman uses a standard bottom row. So got pbt white pudding keycaps from Double Tap They have a really good cheap offering that supports all kb sizes (even has a small rshift)

EVA foam, Tape Mod (2 layers)
Stabilizer tuned and housings l**ed with 205g0 and Dielectric grease on wires
Switch stabs tightened
Switches partially l**ed at the individual switch stabs
Modifier switches are fully l**ed.

BEST LOOKING AND SOUNDING RAZER IN BD? 👀

First Client Project ayyy!

I didn't plan on doing this but a viewer reached out and asked if I do commissioned builds which I agreed to. It was his first time buying a mechanical keyboard so he was confused about what to get. We hopped on a discord call and after an hour or so we decided that the KT87 with box red switches would be the best choice for him as he wanted a quiet board. So he bought the board and directly sent it to me to be modded.

First Impressions on the KT87, it is a gorgeous board with PBT keycaps (similar to Akko Macaw where the keycaps themselves cost 5k!) Did I mention it comes with a lot of alternate colored keycaps and numpad keycaps even though its a TKL? It also has RGB with a lot of effects for the G@mers out there and a Silicon plate dampener. This is the best-prebuilt keyboard out there in the market right now under 10k nocap. (Heard a lot of things about the Dareu A87 v2 as well but didn't get to get my hands on it so can't say.)

Final thoughts: The KT87 is an amazing board that can reach its true potential by modding. One downside is the clip-on tray that you need to remove first which is a pain and I will not recommend this board to beginners who want to get into modding. Also, half of the entirety of the time went behind the spacebar which was extremely annoying. Prel**ed stabs and Holee mod just do not go well together. But the end result was so much worth it as I managed to make the spacebar sound perfect.

So the kind folks at Ez Gadgets sent out their EZPAD. It is a Cordura mousepad (fast surface) designed right here in Bangladesh! Heard a lot of good things about it but haven't gotten the chance to try it out myself.

If you're looking for a cheap separate numpad to use with your small keyboard to grind the occasional Excel spreadsheet then this might be just the thing you need.

Got the outemu blue variant as you need tactility for these kind of work and brown was unavailable.
Wired, removable type C, blue LED and has what seems to be like a polycarbonate plate.
Soldiered switches, will prolly change these out for a good tactile somewhere down the line

Finally went deeper into the rabbit hole and decided on having a secondary kb. 65% prolly my fave layout and since my main kB has linears, thought of making this a tactile build.

This is probably the cheapest way you can get a solid, fully customizable mechanical keyboard with good switches.

The CIY Tester 68 is a dirt-cheap Kit that has 5pin hot-swap, flat stabilizers, and wireless connectivity via a 2.4ghz dongle. It even comes with a silicone plate dampener and case foam!

So here is the price breakdown for my budget build
CIY Tester 68 - 2.3k Cybertronics
45 Akko Lavender Purple switches - 1.2k Aimbot Technologies
Used RK Brown switches + White ABS Keycaps for 700

Mods: Eva Foam to case, Lubed stabilizers, PE foam on PCB, Space bar foam.

Total cost ~4.2k BDT

Also thought of seeing this kbs max potential so tape modded it and threw on some Boba U4 Thocks and XDA Honeymilk PBT.

It comes in the shape of the Razer Viper and is sized in between the Viper Mini and the Viper Ultimate. Pretty good for small to medium hands. Also idk what coating they used but the matte surface feels premium AF.

3370 sensor + Kailh GM8.0, need I say more?

Pretty much one of the best mice for small hands available in the BD market. An alternate option would be the Symm1.

Got this modding pack from . I really like their approach to this because most of us just mod 1 keyboard and use that for a long time. So it's not really worth it to buy 10g/12g l**e for 1k which will have a lot of it left over. Add to that 1k dielectric grease and 200/300 of foam making the total cost 2.2/2.3k which is why it's so hard to get into modding. You have to buy a lot of supplies which you won't really need for modding 1 keyboard.

This pack has 6g of 205g0 l**e, 5g dielectric grease and 1 sheet of EVA foam, for 450. (I was simply restocking my existing supplies as I ordered a new kB) Add a 50tk brush to this set and you're set to get into modding for only 500 instead of 2k-ish. This pack should be enough to do all the basic mods like foam mod, band aid mod, switch lubing, clipping and lubing the stabilizes and more.
