That was friggin well written and very entertaining in a gonzo type of way. As an ex Australian Army Reserve (and then journo onto media agent), I get it. Well explained in a ballsy and no B.S way. As we know, television is a business, just as I know this may sound a bit harsh, but the business of military, to the side of the business war. In the national interest of course. One of the most thought stimulating articles I've even read on the subject of television, and I've read thousands. I respect the soldiers, but not so much the politics behind it all. Wars are fought by strong and big men carrying out the deeds of small. the readership gets it I'm sure. Cheers and salute to you and your squad.
Twelve episodes of washed-up celebrities failing basic-training events? No thanks. If you want good TV, send these wannabe troopers to Kabul or Mosul.
