📍Mummuga Lake NSW

What a special spot, another to add to your list!

Mummaga Lake has held a special significance to the Walbunga people. The name Mummaga translates as “Mother’s Sister”.

The Walbunga people hold the land as sacred and have continuously used the lake and surrounds for camping, meeting and fishing.

Heading south off peak is something worth doing once in your travels! You get to experience crystal clear lakes, and crisp blue skies. Almost forgot to mention the biggest perk, there is almost always nobody around! 😍

2 years ago today we picked up our brand new D-Max Ute & boy we were stoked to see where this thing could take us! Two years on & 70,000km later we are still loving this Ute silly, just as stoked as the day as got her.

Our advice when it comes to building your rig is take your time doing up your rig, don’t throw the kitchen sink at it straight away because someone on the internet told you that you need something. Overtime you’ll see what you need and you’ll see what you really don’t need in your setup.

Appreciation post for this guy! 😍

It’s been a HUUUGGGGEEE process getting this caravan where we want it to be able to live even more comfortably off grid.. The massive amounts of DIY that have been going on since we brought home our caravan only 6 weeks ago! 🚐

Aaron has been cutting, screwing & wiring his way through all the tasks I’ve been throwing towards him.

In the last 6 weeks he has installed a diesel heater, cupboard shelving instead of the standard hanging space, sirroco fans to cool us down and to top it off an almost complete 12 volt battery setup! 👌🏼

It’s been a huge amount of work to fit into the weekends but I’m so thankful for this guy as I have no idea how he does it all 😅

Unfortunately there will be no video up on our YouTube this week! As we have been running around like headless chooks trying to pack our caravan and organise our 12volt battery system before we head away for a few little trips 🚐

Ginger is itching to get away in her brand new van and absolutely is loving her new space, talk about one spoilt doggo 🐶😂

Get excited though because we have some exciting travel content coming in a few weeks, along with the big rig weigh in too coming very soon! 😮

Let’s strip it back to the base, we have our new waterproof mattress protector that just fits like a glove 😍

In our last caravan we didn’t have a custom mattress protector and it was so annoying having to play with 4 square corners to make it work. This time around a custom made waterproof protector is exactly what we needed!
