This drawing is about my dear brother Nitzan (Bud in English) who passed away 20 years ago of a bone marrow cancer at the age of 6 months , the terrible disease made a tumor in his left eye , i wanted to make this drawing half realistic but still leave the innocence of a child and left some cartoonish characteristics , i don’t think this drawing is perfect but who’s perfect? the face in the middle is a cartoon adaption of a real photo of my baby brother , despite his chemotherapy treatments he was always smiling and was happy , i adore his attitude and wonder how good a man he would’ve become if he was still alive , miss you brother...always! הרישום הבא מוקדש לאחי הקטן ניצן , שנפטר מסרטן מח העצם לפני כ20 שנה , המחלה הארורה גרמה לו לגידול בתעלת העין השמאלית לכן העין ברישום נפוחה , רציתי לעשות את הרישום ריאליסטי ככל שניתן אבל בהיותי מתחיל החלטתי דווקא ללכת על מאפיינים יותר איוריים , הפנים באמצע הם אדפציה איורית מתמונה של אחי הקטן , למרות הכימותרפיה והטיפולים שעבר הוא תמיד היה עם חיוך על פנים וגישה שהייתי תמיד רוצה שתיהיה גם לי גם שעולמי חרב עליי , אני תוהה איזה גבר היית נהייה אם היית איתנו היום , אוהב אותך תמיד אחי הקטן , אחיך הבכור , ירין
