Duries BC Head coach and a big character within Scottish Boxing has been dealing with a lot recently. Like many boxing gyms, Durie's found it tough during the COVID pandemic and Archie has tried to keep things going with one thing after another since then.

Archie speaks his mind and does what he thinks is right for his club and boxers. Love him or not, no one can deny that his heart is in the right place.

In our new JATV Raw series, he talks about having to choose between losing his home and keeping his gym open; the hypocrisy of South Lanarkshire Council & the state of the homelessness system and his decision to affiliate with Boxing Alliance Scotland in the new season.

Community Champions Award - we have shortlisted clubs that have pulled together to show real community spirit and engagement.

JATV Live’s Special Recognition Award - not everything can be measured in the ring; this year we’ve shortlisted boxers who have shown amazing in ring ability, but are also great ambassadors and role models for the sport.
