WHY?

You're selling them on a result, an end goal.

If the result is a process, people need to see how long it'll take to achieve.

Last time I was at a gym 🥲

Gyms are set to open in the UK in early April. That would mean over 6 months away from any fitness centre for me.

It's been a tough ride for a lot of people, but right now I'm just looking forward to the first day back.

Question for PT's, will you move away from online coaching when things open up, or is that your new bread and butter?

Some people gained fat.
Some people lost muscle.
Some people lost motivation.

I was determined that none of that was going to happen to me when everything shut down. I was only training at the gym before, and pivoting to home workouts was a challenge, but a joy as well. I learned a lot, and I’m sharing a lot of it via .co so go follow that space for more!

Gyms in germany are re-opened... although it looks a bit like the scene of an investigation 😅 oh well I’m just happy to be back. Being forced out of the gym has taught me a great deal about how to use your body to get stronger, instead of large, muscle isolating equipment, so I’m going to balance my time between my yoga mat at home and the gym going forwards.

You know when you're determined to wake up early in the morning to work out, or do any other task, then the alarm goes off, and there is just 0 motivation to do anyhting. A little tip i have it to prepare your morning the night before by having a morning fix, in my case a preworkout, by your bedside table so you can pump some motivation into your blood without leaving your bed. This works about 90% of the time. the other 5%, it just aint your day 😅⁠⁠

Let’s talk about rest. The funny part about fitness is that the work is done with exercise, but the progress happens during rest and recovery. So if you don’t give your body rest, you’re wasting the work you put in. This was my big mistake in years prior. Working out 7 days a week at 60-70% capacity, as opposed to this year, working out 4-5 times per week at 100% capacity. Ready for smoothies every DAY!
The full range is really helping me staying active and exercising every day. I’m feeling real happy these days despite everything that’s going on.
Partly because all my family and friends are healthy and safe.
Partly because of this nice ass pool.
But mainly because I’m building a business doing what I love, unbound by any boss or rules and with unlimited potential.
It’s hard for me to sulk over the fact that we can’t travel or party or go to festivals or have mass gatherings. My priorities lie elsewhere at the moment.
I’m just hoping everyone stays safe and the affected are able to get the help they need.

HEALTH IS WEALTH 💰

The first pic is taken excavated 4 years ago after the first time I ever worked out!

I was less than 70 kg and I had no idea what I was doing (and I had the biggest pump ever and felt like an absolute unit 😆)

I’ve gone through ups and downs, injuries and recovery, highs and lows, gotten fat and lean. ( I was at 90 kg a short while back!)

I’ve learned how important the trinity of rest, exercise and nutrition is. And since the beginning of 2020 I’ve made strides to find the nutrition where I can build muscle, get lean and have energy.

The journey never stops. I’m going to make the absolute best of the curveball of a year that 2020 is.

Taking my filter inspiration from
One of the biggest privileges of the quarantine is that time is so much more forgiving. You don’t have to jack up your routine if you get lazy and don’t work out as early in the morning as you were meant to. I was meant to do this HIIT tabata workout at 7:30. I ended up starting at 10:30 instead 😅 and luckily I can rearrange the schedule for today cause I have nowhere I have to be other than inside my house.
