Fancy making this easy noticeboard project? Here's how!
YOU’LL NEED:
Wood, at least 1cm thick, fabric, felt, wadding, ribbon, drawing pins or staples, buttons, strong glue
1. Lay the wood on top of the fabric, then using it as a template, cut two inches around the outside, so you have enough room for the fabric to attach to the back of the wood. Cut your wadding to the same size.
2. Place the fabric face down on a flat surface, then the wadding on top and lastly the wood. Wrap the fabric and wadding around the wood, covering the edges and pulling to the back. Pin or staple in place. Do this all the way round, pulling the fabric tight as you go.
3. Position the ribbon across the front of your board; you can use a criss-cross effect or straight lines if you prefer. Attach each piece to the back as before, ensuring they are pulled tight. Cut an extra piece of ribbon and attach at the top on the back for hanging.
4. Pin or staple all the ribbons at the points they overlap. This will make tight pockets to hold your notes. You can decorate these joins with buttons. Lastly, cut felt to the same size as the noticeboard and glue to the back to cover all the pins or staples.

ASHWINI MUDRA
This exercise improves stomach health and alleviates bloating. This posture also has beneficial results on the hormonal system, particularly on the thyroid gland. It's thought to balance the nervous, digestive, circulatory and reproductive systems in our bodies
1 Sit in an upright position, but relaxed and breathing normally.
2 Now, contract the muscles in your back passage and hold for 10 seconds. Then release your muscles slowly and breathe. Repeat as many times as is comfortable.

SALABHASANA OR LOCUST POSE
This pose helps a variety of complaints, including fatigue, flatulence, constipation, indigestion and lower back pain
1 Lie on your stomach with your arms by your sides. Engage your glutes and, as you inhale, lift your head, upper torso, arms and legs off the floor. Keep your big toes turned towards each other.
2 Hold for the count of five and then exhale and release back down to the floor.

YOU’LL NEED: fabric, Ikea Rosali in blue and cream, lining fabric, white cardboard, sewing machine with zipper foot and matching thread, ribbons, scissors and pins
1. Cut two floral rectangles, 30cm x 35cm, one in each matching fabrics. Cut a rectangle of card, 15cm x 20cm, two strips 5cm x 20cm and two 5cm x 15cm. Trim eight pieces of ribbon 15cm long. Position and pin on the right side of the fabric, ribbon 5cm from each corner.
2. Position the remaining rectangle on top with the right side of the fabric facing. Stitch around three edges with a 1cm seam allowance, sandwiching the ribbon between the layers, leaving a 15cm gap open in one of the narrow ends. Trim the corners, then turn to the right side. Tease out corners and press.
3. Slide in one of the 5cm x 15cm pieces of card. Use a zipper foot, stitch along the edge. Slide in the two longer strips, position them along each side of the rectangle and stitch along the edges of these strips. Slide in the large rectangle and sew across the base. Slide in the remaining strip and hand slip stitch across the opening. Tie the ribbons in a bow at each corner to form the shape of the tray.

We love this fab recipe from
INGREDIENTS:
1 pack Violife Creamy Original
90g oats (blended until fine)
100g whole oats
35g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
100ml coconut milk
2 flax eggs lightly beaten
3 tbsp coconut cream
3 tbsp coconut sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp sea salt

TO SERVE:
Strawberries
Fresh Berries
Banana
Maple syrup
Heart shaped cookie cutters

METHOD:
In a large bowl mix together Violife Creamy Original Flavour, flax eggs, coconut milk, coconut cream and vanilla. Whisk until mixture is smooth. Add all remaining ingredients and mix until a batter forms. Place batter between two sheets of baking paper and use a rolling pin to create an even sheet. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to create heart shaped pancakes. Place on a lined baking tray and bake for 15 minutes. Serve with fresh berries, bananas and maple syrup if you like!

Here are three 30-minute self-care habits to try today!

Tech detox
“Many of us find ourselves lying in bed at night replying to emails or checking our phones – and we continue this as soon as we’ve opened our eyes in the morning, often before we’ve even left our bed,” says life coach Lynette Gray. “Switch your phone to aeroplane mode and turn off any WiFi connections an hour before going to bed. Keep it that way for an hour after waking. This encourages you to wind down at night and also starts the day positively. If the first thing you do is look at your phone, you are reacting, which encourages continual reactive behaviour throughout the day. If you don’t look at your phone, you are thinking proactively about the day ahead, which promotes productivity.”

Meditation
“Wake up just 15 minutes earlier than normal, then sit comfortably in a room other than your bedroom, close your eyes and simply sit in silence, focusing on regular deep breaths to bring yourself into a emotional, and it’s often during this time we are able to work out what we miss or want from daily life. Giving yourself just a few minutes to do this will allow you to re-centre and focus for the day ahead.”

Journaling
There is a lot of power in putting pen and paper “Journaling can give intention to goals, which encourages you to pursue what normally remains in your head. It also takes the power out of negative thinking,” says Lynette. “An inner voice speaks to you daily and, more often than not, what is said is not kind. By writing it down, you can track how you speak to yourself and subjectively determine whether it is true or necessary. To counter negative thinking, we must tell ourselves daily all of the positive things about ourselves.”
