You've been diligently posting to your practice's social pages, sharing engaging posts, and working towards getting as many followers as you can, but you're not seeing any new clients or an increase in appointments...
Does that sound familiar?
When it comes to being a brick-and-mortar, like a veterinary practice, that doesn't do any e-commerce or business online, the ultimate goal is to attract new followers on your social media accounts that are local to your business, as this is the main source of where you will get clients.
By focusing on gaining as many followers as possible, you attract people that have a high likely hood of NOT doing business with you. So those 10k followers you achieved for your practice look great, but overall, it's not going to do anything for your practice, just due to the business model of a veterinary practice.
This method works great for an influencer or YouTuber, but not for us at our vet hospital.
Trust me, I've been there myself. Seeing that follower count grow is instant gratification and so rewarding in the moment. But it's important to keep in mind that the ultimate goal is to gain new leads that are going to convert into actual paying clients.
For more insight on how you can get your local community members to follow your practice on social media, comment LOCAL, and I'll send you the link to my podcast episode, where I dive into what you can start doing today!
