Everything that has happened to us has happened for a reason. Every up and down that we have been through has shaped us and our life for the better. Yes, you heard me, FOR THE BETTER. While it was happening or whilst we were in the middle of the storm it most likely felt like the end of the world, but guess what, it wasn’t. We made it through and we are still here. We were able to get through all of those sleepless, tear soaked nights. We were able to pick ourselves up off the floor after feeling completely defeated or heartbroken. We survived them all. We were and are strong enough to make it through everything that has literally been thrown at us.

We are awesome and think about how much more wisdom and strength we have now. Never give up. You’ve got this 💛💛

Positive self talk can be hard, really hard at times, but what is it?

Imagine if you had someone with you all of the time,
Commenting on the things you do and say, as well as how you look and feel. If that person was kind, gentle and empowering - like a best mate - how would that feel?

What if that person was really awful, mean, rude and a proper bully?

Self talk is just like that person, except in our own minds. It’s the way we speak to and about ourselves and if it’s unkind and rude, it’s like a bully living inside of our head all of the time.

We have the power to make our self talk voice kinder - more like a mate. I have a bit of a love/hare relationship with me at times but I’m trying do be more mindful of that inner monologue.

I know the ghost of my past selves would be patting me on the back. Some may be giving me a shove to remind me of my worth.

You are just incredible.

Look at how far you have come.

Don’t spend too long lingering on the tough days. Tough days don’t mean a bad life. Just look at them as battle wounds that will only make you stronger.

As I journaled and had reflection time today, I just wanted to remind myself and share with all you lovelies that you we do not need validation from anyone to know our own worth.

We are the best because no one else is like us.

I’ve been there. I’ve been in a long term marriage and had friendships where I was made to feel inadequate and unworthy.

I fought back. I took a stand and I found my worth in me. I stripped back all the rubbish that I was fed and remembered that quirky, unique and bubbly woman that I once was and I embraced her again.

Along the way, I met my gorgeous soul mate, Jon and we now have a beautiful daughter, Imogen. 27 months on and things are better.

I love me and I am more loved than I can ever imagine.

Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle. Don’t let anyone make you think you’re not worthy. You are worthy of it all.

You can walk away from situations. It takes incredible courage and it might feel mighty uncomfortable at the time, but, you deserve it.

Be around people who embrace you for who you truly are and make you shine.

The summer holidays has given me the chance to slow down and focus on new products. These notebooks are being brought back and are available in plain, lined or dotted grid for you

My well-being diary is going to have a few tweaks AND this year, you will get the option of different covers. Eek! So something nice and bespoke for yourself.

Feeling all nostalgic tonight as I have been looking back on my business.

I set up my stationery and gifts business in 2020. I wanted to create stationery that would bring positivity, empowerment and self kindness. Some of my first products I designed were these positivity planners, my gratitude journal, vision dream board, wellbeing tracker and my well-being diary planner. I created these around an uncertain time, where anxiety was high in the world. I wanted to create stationery that would allow people to reflect on the good things and to create focus in a difficult time. As a counsellor and huge mental health advocate. I wanted to use my knowledge and skills to support others and being on maternity leave, I had quite a lot of time on my hands as my gorgeous baby girl slept.

I’m so proud of all I have achieved and excited by the year ahead.

Thank you for being with me on this journey.

Just wanted to share a lovely commission I’ve just finished for someone. Love the effects on procreate to create this one.

I also think the quote is really apt from my stormy day yesterday.

Thanks for all of the messages and kind comments. Feeling so much better today! Did some decluttering yesterday and journalling and sent off all the negative thoughts that just were not serving me anymore.

Feel so much lighter.

Peace certainly comes in the eye of the storm if you just take a moment and breathe. Storms are temporary. Thank god!

Don’t panic, I’m not going mad! Hehe. But as a neurodivergent adult, navigating around life can be challenging. I have written a poem just to reflect this and had a bit of fun with the old ‘Tik Tok.’

My brain is struggling today. I’m overwhelmed. Yes, at times I wish I could escape for a bit but who doesn’t?! This is not a post of sympathy, trust me, this is just a ‘real’ post to remind us that it’s okay.

It’s okay to not be okay every day. It’s okay to struggle. Just remember that you’re not alone. Bad days don’t mean a bad life. Life is a rollercoaster. We might not have the strength every day but every day is a new day.

Have a great Monday. Keep being authentic. Keep being you. You’re mint!

We don’t speak about our wins enough. We have been told that it’s too big headed - where on earth did that come from?! Bonkers! Well, last year, my well-being desktop calendar and diary with in the etsys ‘bestseller’ categories for 3 months. I couldn’t believe it! I couldn’t quite believe that something I created would go so viral. It even lead to me having a huge order from Ladbrokes, yes, Ladbrokes where they sent out loads of the desktop calendars to their staff who were working from home. I was so over the moon that I could make a huge difference from my little iPad. So, this year, I have launched my next wellbeing diary and as@as thank you for all of your support, I’m going to do a bundle deal with my diary for the bank holiday weekend.
