✨ International 🐆Cheetah Day – December 4th ✨

Cheetahs have raced across the savannah for millions of years, but today their future is slowing down.

Beyond habitat loss, they face illegal trade, shrinking territories, conflict with livestock, and declining prey. Every year, their space grows smaller, along with their chances.

🫶 International Cheetah Day is a reminder that their survival depends on our choices. Protecting them means supporting healthy ecosystems, empowering local communities, and ensuring wildlife still has a place in our shared world.

🗓️ This December 4th, learning, supporting conservation efforts, and sharing awareness truly makes a difference. The planet would be far emptier without the species that embodies nature at its purest: freedom, speed, and balance.

🌍✨ In 1999, the Czech Republic signed an international convention to limit the risks of hazardous chemicals and pesticides, aiming to protect human health, the environment, and ensure responsible trade.

🐝 Meanwhile, global pesticide use has more than doubled, driving the dramatic decline of pollinators like bees. Without them, biodiversity —and our food security— are at risk. In places like China and Brazil, pollination now even has to be done by hand.

💧🌱 Pesticides also harm soil, water, and people: about 41 million suffer accidental poisonings every year, and WHO data links these toxic substances to hundreds of thousands of suicides.

🚨 Protecting life, human and natural, means reducing pesticide use and supporting safer alternatives.

The good news: In the last 15 years, organic farming,free from synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, has grown significantly, bringing 2 million new workers into sustainable agriculture.

🌱✨ Tourism has the power to amplify this change. By choosing organic farms, local producers, and eco-friendly experiences, travelers help these farmers thrive and support a food system that can truly feed the planet responsibly.

Christmas lights went up 3 weeks earlier than usual ✨ to warm us up for buying more, wanting more, needing more.

We’re pushed to shop before we even think — to fill carts instead of needs, and to forget the planet while chasing “deals.” 💸

Millions of lights installed by city governments may boost economic activity as intended, but they also do so at the expense of the environment 🌍 and the well-being of the population. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

But we can choose differently.
We can pause. ✋
We can Refuse 🚫, Reduce ➖, Reuse 🔁, Repair 🧵, Recycle ♻️ — in that order.
We can break the linear economy they’re selling us. 🔄

This year, think twice before shopping. 🤔🛒
Not everything on sale is worth the cost — not for your wallet, not for the earth. 🌱✨

🇪🇸 El Black Friday no es una oportunidad — es una estrategia. 🛍️⚠️

Las luces de Navidad se encendieron 3 semanas antes de lo habitual (antes era el 6 de diciembre) ✨ para prepararnos a comprar más, desear más, necesitar más.
Nos empujan a comprar antes de siquiera pensar — a llenar el carrito en lugar de cubrir necesidades, y a olvidar el planeta mientras perseguimos “ofertas”. 💸

Los millones de luces instaladas por los gobiernos municipales pueden aumentar la actividad económica como se pretende, pero también lo hacen a costa del medio ambiente 🌍 y del bienestar de la población. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Pero podemos elegir distinto.
Podemos hacer una pausa. ✋
Podemos Rechazar 🚫, Reducir ➖, Reutilizar 🔁, Reparar 🧵, Reciclar ♻️ — en ese orden.
Podemos romper la economía lineal que nos están vendiendo. 🔄

Este año, piensa dos veces antes de comprar. 🤔🛒

🥳✨ Today we celebrate 3 years of 🌎

What started as one simple question 🤔How can travellers identify truly sustainable businesses❓ This matter led me to build from scratch an international and digital magazine to give more visibility to destinations and businesses committed with a more sustainable way of travel 🌿.

This website was created with heart, perseverance but zero technical background. Some nightmares in the middle 🤯.

And today…we turn three! 🎂🎉

I’m endlessly grateful to ten companies that trusted me from day one, to our customers, partners, universities, creators, associations, and the social and environmental projects we’ve support together.

And of course, to our readers and subscribers 🔖 …thank you for believing that traveling well men’s uplifting communities, culture, and small businesses 💚

I’m still as excited and inspired as the very first day.
