"Close Calls" (2017) - Official Trailer
S & Drive Cinema drops the OFFICIAL TRAILER for their new psychological horror film, "Close Calls", from Producer/Writer/Director, Richard Stringham! Trailer available now on YouTube and Vimeo! Experience the terror in Morgan's head!! Pray she doesn't answer the phone ... and end up dead!!
Last week S & Drive Pictures worked with two amazing actresses who helped film a crazy splatter sequence for "Close Calls". Things got a little bloody, and the entire process was equivalent to dragging an anvil uphill, but Carmen Patterson and Janis Duley showed out and proved to everyone on the crew that they are a couple of troopers and scream queens to be reckoned with. It was a picture wrap for Janis Duley, and everyone on the "Close Calls" crew would like to say thanks to this talented lady for toughing it out with us and being a part of our sick, demented family. Also a special thanks must go out to Les Galusha, Ashley 'Pookie' Pagan, and Carmen Patterson for riding it out even when you were under the weather (Your hard work will pay off in the long run).
This is what your camera crew looks like after a 16 hour stretch. These cats just filmed an incredible and unforgettable action sequence for "Close Calls" from about 30 different wild angles. Huge thanks to Craig Wynn (Director of Photography), Andy Jacuzzi (1st AC) and Zach Duvall (2nd AC, Documentarian) for capturing and being a part of this madness.
S & Drive Pictures would like to say a big as hell thanks to Janis Duley for joining the skanky crew of "Close Calls". Earlier this year Janis was a pretty prominent character in a film called "The Perfect Host", and in our film she plays a character that will hopefully warp the minds of innocent children. So far Janis has been courteous, professional and a blast to work with. She got a chance this week to visit and work with co-star Greg Fallon and makeup artist Ashley "Pookie" Pagan, who also worked with her on "Host" and made her feel at home on the set of "Close Calls". So in conclusion, we'd like to say thanks to Janis Duley for being the hoot and holler that you are... and for being the first person in this feature ever to make our star Jordan Phipps break character! You know what we mean! Rock on, Granny!
