"One Night In Porto” the live album by Lisa Gerrard and Jules Maxwell is released today!

The new live album by Dead Can Dance’s Lisa Gerrard and Jules Maxwell is a beautiful re-imagining of their 2021 collaboration Burn. Entitled One Night in Porto it was recorded during their seven date tour of Portugal in November 2022 and is released today on Atlantic Curve.

Lisa and Jules will be signing copies of the album at Rough Trade Records East in London 12:00-14:00 on Thursday 15th June, and again after their concert in Lodz on Saturday 1st July.

‘Noyalain (Burn) Live in Porto’ by Lisa Gerrard and Jules Maxwell is released today!

Taken from their forthcoming new album, 'One Night in Porto', this is a beautiful reimagining of one of the standout tracks from their 2021 collaboration ‘Burn'.

The album is released digitally on 12th May and physically on 30th June. Lisa & Jules will play a special one-off concert to celebrate the album’s release, at the beautiful Wielki Theatre in Lodz, Poland on 1st July.

After a short hiatus, The Sirens of Titan are back with new single and the upcoming album!

"Dark Heart Beating" is the first single from the forthcoming album "Age of Treason", which is due to be released this August on Atlantic Curve.

"My songs are intended as kind of image-scapes, which are very much open to interpretation, so I am a bit reticent to narrow them down in terms of narrative, but I guess I would say it’s basically a poetic heartbeat about obsession, desire and the opportunity for elevated karmic return. At least that’s what it means to me." - says John-Paul Pryor, the lead member of The Sirens of Titan in his recent interview with FAD.

Lisa Gerrard and Jules Maxwell announce their forthcoming live album, “One Night in Porto”!

Recorded at Casa da Música in Porto during their 2022 Burn tour, the album will be released digitally on 12th May with CD and limited edition Vinyl versions available from 30th June.

We are extremely proud to be a part of this release.

Lisa and Jules will be performing an exclusive concert in Lodz, Poland on 1st July to celebrate the album’s launch.

𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬!

We are thrilled to announce the signing of world-renowned artist Lisa Gerrard – composer/singer for Dead Can Dance & Golden Globe Winner for the soundtrack to ‘𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿’ - in conjunction with Los Angeles-based composer/record producer Marcello De Francisci, for the release of their second and much-anticipated album ‘𝗘𝘅𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗮’.

Ms. Gerrard and Mr. De Francisci met many years ago whilst working on the soundtrack for ‘𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀‘, which initiated a multitude of collaborative efforts such as soundtrack scores and their first album ‘𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗺‘. The first single from Exaudia, ‘𝗨𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗪𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻’, is released on 17th June 2022, the same date that the album is available to pre-order.

𝗟𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗱: “I met Marcello while I was composing for a film called Kings, he had wonderful engineering skills and I liked him as a person. After a while we decided to try composing together and went on to compose some film scores. I love the fact that Atlantic Curve do vinyl and were also very interested in pursuing the artistic side of the accompanying videos. They did a wonderful job promoting my last album ‘Burn’ using social media platforms and internet media.”

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗗𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶: "It has been an absolute gift to work alongside Lisa once again on this work, which we wrote very much with the intention to inspire her fan base both on the listening and cinematic end.”

We’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to move our EU tour dates to next year. The added costs and uncertainty around touring post-Brexit, coupled with the difficulties in keeping our entire touring party healthy while coming into to contact with hundreds of people every night have informed this decision. We have commitments outside of music, and young families to care for, that mean we simply can’t afford to be in quarantine hundreds of miles from home. We’re as disappointed as you are. We will use this time creatively, and we will rock twice as hard in October 2022 to make it up to you.

Please note, there are a couple of venue changes, but all tickets will remain valid for the new dates. If you require a refund, please speak to your ticket vendor.

Leeds and London shows will go ahead as planned in December.

Gerrard and Maxwell began working on the album in Australia in 2015 whilst writing songs for The Mystery Of The Bulgarian Voices (Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares). After being introduced to Chapman, they asked him to produce the album.

iLiKETRAiNS’ ode to invasive mass surveillance has been remixed by James Adrian Brown of Pulled Apart By Horses fame.

Informed by his recent work scoring for film and television, Brown strips the original of its motorik rhythm and takes it somewhere altogether more sinister. Creeping string sections, submerged vocals and dystopian synthesiser arpeggios play perfectly into the general sense of unease.

'𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗠' is taken from the KOMPROMAT album, released on Atlantic Curve in 2020.
