📌From 07-11.09.2023, we held in Sofia 🇧🇬 an international entrepreneurship training Enterpreneets designed for young women (18-29 years old) 👩‍🎓👩‍💻👩‍💼 in order to stimulate women's entrepreneurship in Bulgaria, Germany, Italy and Slovakia. Each country selected 5 participants who within 3 working days discussed the challenges facing women entrepreneurs and worked on innovative ideas based on social and social needs.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

Dell Women Entrepreneurs Cities Index 2023 is here, with five new cities joining the league of 55 inspiring cities.

Let's give a warm welcome to Montpellier, Mumbai, Auckland, Wellington, and Hamburg for making it to the WE Cities Index this year.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, this year's Index shows remarkable progress since 2017.

The 2023 index also includes additional technology indicators including 5G coverage, datacenter efficiency provided by S&P Global’s 451 Research, and five new indicators of equality in technology use provided by GWI.

The index considers five essential criteria:

1. Markets
2. Talent
3. Capital
4. Culture
5. Technology

In 2019, the "culture" criterion experienced a decline due to reduced public attention to the achievements of women founders during the pandemic.

The top two cities for both the culture and technology pillars in 2019 were US cities. In 2023 the top two spots in those pillars were cities in Europe.

None of the top 10 cities have top 10 momentum scores and, while most of the leading overall cities are from North America and Western Europe, momentum scores are led by cities in APAC.

Let's empower women entrepreneurs worldwide and build a brighter, more inclusive future for female founders worldwide. 💪

Job search is your project. Therefore, it should be divided into certain stages with tracking the results.

✔ Gathering information on what is happening in the labor market

Defining your goal. From the very beginning, it is necessary to clearly define and understand what result you want to get. Further, define potential employers and vacancies.

✔ Preparation for the search of work

Make a summary that will be your basis. Then adjust it to the vacancy and add a unique letter of support.

✔ Monitoring the process of applying for vacancies.

All companies and start-ups that you have been interested in and are going to apply to are included in the plate. The table is needed to organize the data and monitor the progress of each résumé sent.
In the table, create, for example, the following columns: Company, position, Yue, Status, Next deadline, Description of duties, and comments.

How to learn English on your own

1. If you are a beginner, find a good textbook. We recommend "Outcomes", "Speakout", "Life"

2. Support the manual with other sources. Try to surround yourself with English: change the language on the devices, sign up for English bloggers and read comments under posts! Always train.

But be sure to download learning apps on your phone, so that you can study anywhere and at any time convenient for you.

3. Look for English where your area of interest is. You like the tik-tok - sign up for English-speaking tiktokers. Love movies? Search for blogs of movie lovers. Interested in psychology? Read articles on that topic.

4 Listen! As much as possible and as much as attentive. Listen to music in English, podcasts, nterviews, etc. Your brain will subconsciously fix the measurement, individual words, intonation

5. Sign up for a conversation club and practice language with others.

5 career trends in 2023

1. A professional brand is a guarantee of success.

The market is filled with skilled workers, so sometimes it is difficult to stand out among other candidates. That's why there's a need to build a strong professional brand, from your CV to LinkedIn and to your personal branding.

2. The most demanded professions in the world are still in the field of tech

According to a research by Emeritus, in 2023 the following professions will be in demand: data scientist, machine learning engineer, network security, blockchain engineer. But there are good news for those who do not see themselves in the above-mentioned roles. In 2023, employers will pay attention to marketers, HR specialists, marketers and DJs, objective and financial managers, as well as to nurses.

3. the 4-day working week little-small becomes a norm.

Last year, 30+ companies in Europe, Asia and Australia joined the initiative. After the test, the participating companies assessed their experience with nine points out of 10, and none of the companies decided not to return to the five-day week.

4. Companies are trying to encourage people to return to the office

If 2020 and 2021 were the years of work with home, 2022 - the year of freedom of choice where to work, 2023 becomes the year of hybrid work. 3 steps to answer "tell me about yourself"

You have got the interview coming up and you know they are going to hit you with the most common interview question, - tell me about yourself. The reason why the interviewer is asking you tell me about yourself, is because they are context switching. They have been going from meeting to meeting and you have to outstand from others if you want the job.

There is 3 part formula that will help you to impress and remain brief at the same time.

Part 1: Who you are.
One sentence to introduce yourself professionally. Say the title of your current role or an overachieving statement of the kind of professional you are.

Ex: I have been in the renewable energy industry for 7 years, and I’m currently the Customer Success Manager at ABC company.

Part 2: Your highlight reel.
2-4 points that make you stand out based on the role you are interviewing for, with more emphasis or recent achievements.

Ex: 1. Promoted within 2 years 2.Built ticket management processes from scratch 3. Experienced both high volume requests and provided high touch support to power users.

Part 3: Why you are here.
1-2 sentences about why the company or the role is a compelling opportunity.

Ex: This opportunity caught my attention because what you are building in the renewable energy space is exactly in line with my passion and my expertise. With my range of experience I see this as a chance for me to make an impact quickly at the company, and I also see this as a major opportunity for my growth as the team scales.

To begin with, there are general recommendations regarding the content of freelance platforms:

— To work on any of the sites, you need at least a basic knowledge of the English language, to fill out a profile and communicate with customers.
— Speaking of a portfolio, a well-designed project can be considered a project that demonstrates its entire path from the description of the problem, to the solution and design, through a sketch search.

Who is a brand manager?

Brand Manager is a person who is fully responsible for life and brand development strategy. The brand manager defines the goals, makes a decision about the product/service and its cost in accordance with the market requirements.

✔ A person in this position should monitor that the brand has its own direction and differs from what is already on the market. In order to further fulfill its main function, the brand encouraged people and offered them to try the products he represents.

✔ Brand Manager is responsible for communications, because communications are a tool to promote the brand.

✔Brand Manager should look “360 degrees” and immediately see opportunities to increase brand awareness. These are all PR-activities: Collabarations, partners, and people.

✔This specialist should be well-focused in numbers, able to make and protect the budget, to account for profitability and ROI of each activity. After all, any brand should be profitable, otherwise its development is impossible.
