I have the opportunity to raise funds any non-profit organization through my Pampered Chef business. In August, Pampered Chef is giving 20% - 30% of sales in fundraisers as donations to non-profit organizations chosen by our hosts. August is my birthday month. Last week, I had the honor of cooking dinner for friends. They had some very specific needs: no mammal meat, no gluten, no dairy. I was SO pleased to have this recipe for General Tso Chicken Stir Fry in my Pampered Chef collection. It was DELICIOUS!
Food is my “Love Language” and I love sharing it with people. The more we come around the table together, the closer we are as people. This was a highlight of my week.

I was happy to join City of St. Charles Animal Shelter at their ribbon cutting yesterday. (You might see me in one of these pics) I worked to raise money for them last Spring. They will be partnering with me again for a fundraiser soon.
They have a great new facility to help the animals of St Charles.

Are you a Hummus fan? I wasn't until I needed to make a food shift in 2014 due to my high cholesterol. Hummus was a big part of my nutrition shift. I am the only one in my house that eats hummus now. My Sunday work view…my wonderful husband, Matt, made us breakfast. Then we went hiking at a nearby State Park. Yes, my PC website was accepting orders during this time. The “Thank yous” went out after our hike.
