DEVOTION | This film is based on naval officers Jesse Brown, a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and his fellow officer Tom Hudner & their comradeship during the Korean War. Perfect film for the family after Thanksgiving Dinner.
TODAY IN HIP HOP | 28 years ago TODAY, Method Man dropped his debut album "Tical".
If you're not a Hip Hop Head, you may not know that Method started his career as a member of the LEGENDARY Wu-Tang Clan. This album was produced by fellow member RZA and features Hip Hop icons Raekwon & Inspectah Deck.
"Tical" went on to reach #4 on the US Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Billboard. In 1995, the album was certified GOLD, then eventually PLATINUM (way before streaming). "Bring the Pain" and "I'll Be There for You/ You're All I Need to Get By" were the top two singles from this project.
