The Settlers of Catan is a very popular board game that many credit as kickstarting the current board game renaissance. Well, Asmodee has decided to celebrate 25 years of Catan by launching Catan 25th Anniversary Edition today with an MSRP of $80.

This edition of the game comes with the base game, the 5-6 player expansion, the “Helpers of Catan” scenario, new sorting trays for your cards, special iridescent player pieces, custom dice, and 2 packs of Gamegenic card sleeves.

We’re at that time of year when more and more holiday movies and shows are announced and released. One of the first ones coming from Dinsey+ is called Godmothered which will star Isla Fisher (Tag) and Jillian Bell (Bill & Ted Face the Music) and we’ve got our first two images to look at. Bell seems to be struggling with sledding while Fisher is having a touching moment with their character’s daughter. Sharon Maguire is directing the film which will be available to stream on Disney+ on December 4.

Set at Christmas time, “Godmothered” is a comedy about Eleanor, a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training (Jillian Bell) who upon hearing that her chosen profession is facing extinction, decides to show the world that people still need fairy godmothers. Finding a mislaid letter from a 10-year-old girl in distress, Eleanor tracks her down and discovers that the girl, Mackenzie, is now a 40-year-old single mom (Isla Fisher) working at a news station in Boston. Having lost her husband several years earlier, Mackenzie has all but given up on the idea of “Happily Ever After,” but Eleanor is bound and determined to give Mackenzie a happiness makeover, whether she likes it or not.

Additional stars of Godmothered include Santiago Cabrera, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Jane Curtin, June Squibb, Jillian Shea Spaeder, Willa Skye, Artemis Pebdani, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Stephnie Weir. Are you excited for this film?
