CONDOLENCE ON THE DEMISE OF HRH OBA ABASS AMOLE AJIBODE (OLU OF IJU-ISHAGA KINGDOM)
{From Office of the Executive Chairman, Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government}

With heavy heart and deep pains, I commiserate with the entire people of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government especially the royal families, Council of Baales and traditional clans in the Local Government on the demise of our foremost King, HRH Alaiyeluwa Oba Abass Amole Ajibode, the Olu Of Iju-Ishaga Kingdom who passed on yesterday, Saturday, July 31, 2021.

The Olu of Iju-Ishaga Kingdom's eternal departure at this time is highly unexpected to us, especially at the birth of a new administration, wherein his elderly advice and wealth of experience are needed to pave way for more pragmatic development in our amiable Local Govt.

Family, friends, relatives, political stalwarts, community leaders, entire residents of Ifako-Ijaiye and especially the traditional chieftains will forever miss this unique traditional Leader.

We will surely remember him for the indelible and positive contributions which he had created in so many lives and towards the development of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government.

Undoubtedly, he gave his best towards the development of Iju-Ishaga and our dear Local Government, wholeheartedly.

Kabiyesi Ajibode was very active during our campaign. He hosted us and even attended the unveiling of our H.E.E.D.S Agenda wherein he noted that his Hope in a New Ifako-Ijaiye had been rekindled. We will surely not let you down.

His demise at this time is highly unexpected. This is too painful.
Extremely painful, indeed. No further words can aptly express our pains, at this time.

May God give his family, friends, all traditional leaders and entire Ifako-Ijaiye residents the fortitude to bear this painful and irreparable loss.

Rest in peace Oba Abass!

Signed:
Prince Akanbi Hamzat (UAH)
Executive Chairman,
Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government.
August 1, 2021.
