“The Body Issue is a representation of not only where we are locally, but the global influences that have shaped our intellectual and cultural perspectives. When we created the theme we were skeptical that it could end up being cliché, and I’m most excited for readers to see how we brought depth to popular topics like self-care and beauty, with a Chicago twist.” -Khai Clardy, Echo’s section editor and writer shares her thoughts about this upcoming issue. || Photograph by || Click the link in our bio to read more stories📲
