Important release

Dangerous situation for Ocean City Police Department
Charges laid

At approximately 1:42am December 19th 2021 members of the ocpd observed a vehicle driving northbound on Baltimore Ave near 3rd street.
Upon observation of this vehicle officers activated their emergency equipment and stopped the vehicle near 3rd street where officers discovered a dangerous startling situation.
The vehicle had a cracked windshield and missing rear mudflaps.

Charges laid, vehicle seized and suspect will appear in court Tuesday.

Kid stuck in claw machine
Ocean City MD

Ocfd is on scene of a kid who climbed into a claw machine the owner doesn't have the key to unlock it nor wants to break the glass so the fire department is now taking turns trying to grab the kid with the claw

Update 10:02: ocfd has spent about $30 and haven't grabbed the kid. But they have grabbed, a duck, a horse and a spotted bear. They are calling in other departments to come try.
