We had fun going through my DVD and Bluray collection before I listed it all on ebay! We’ll go through listing and shipping a movie on the clock to show you just how effortless and non-time-consuming it CAN be to list and ship a DVD, Blu-Ray, Video Game, VHS or CD! There’s also plenty of comps in the video to show you what has already sold since filming and listing, to give you an idea of what sells fast for good cash!

How much more difficult is it becoming to make a profit at a regular Goodwill store these days? Seems all the good stuff is going to their online stores (online, Goodwill is one of our biggest competitors on ebay!), or, they use ebay to price their items at or just below what you can buy it online for.

It takes some serious digging, knowledge, and patience to learn in the field to find those deals with a good sell through rate - and enough meat left on the bone to make a buck at Goodwill these days. Check out our new Youtube video where we end up finding some items that fit the bill and already have us profiting for the day’s trip there!

Thank you so much Adam Smith for joining us last night! I hope you all had or will have as great a time as I did meeting Michelle’s brother! We were honored to have him for his first live appearance, and were very grateful that it was also Earth Day! His extensive volunteer work in saving lives, and conserving the wildlife and earth while traveling the world is quite inspiring, and a perfect fit for this special day. Heading out today is a very rare CD that I am grateful to be sending to another fan of interesting music collaborations.
Z Rock Hawaii is an eccentric mix of the Japanese noise-punk band Boredoms and the blatant humor and talent of Ween. Put them together and you've got a hard to find recording that is valued at $90 on compact disc!

We hope you had an awesome week!

With Easter just around the corner, I’m not surprised that this chocolate easter bunny blow mold finally sold!  Holiday decor and collectibles are always selling in and out of season. Don’t be afraid to research and hold on to these blow-molds when you find them and have the space to store them!

I found some Calvin Klein Eternity Aqua at a thrift store with my daughter in a recent reel, and it didn’t take long to sell on ebay. Even though it was slightly used, you are still allowed to sell it as “new other” and describe it’s condition/estimated volume. BOLO for discontinued cologne & perfume, and other desirable designer fragrances!

Wishing you a safe and pleasant holiday season!!

What I love most about Christmas vacation is that I get to spend more time with my daughter doing fun things like snowball street hockey and sledding, and there is plenty of snow for all of that this year in MN! Every year we cycle through the stack of Blu Rays that include Elf, Christmas Vacation, Home Alone 1,2 and A Christmas Story just to name a few of the classics that she now picks out to watch!

What are your top 2-10 favorite Christmas movies? Scrooged, Gremlins…

DaVinci Resolve is an amazing editing program that is used by professionals even in Hollywood to pull together films. There is a free version that is still powerful and if you want to unlock all the effects and such it's only about $300 one-time. I'm still using the free version! If your current editing program limits your video visions from coming about, I recommend this editor to handle just about anything you can imagine...with time invested learning how-to of course...and there's a wealth of info on youtube to help you answer specific questions within the program. A "DaVinci crash-course" video may take you all Saturday or weekend to get through, but you and your viewers will thank you for it!!
DaVinci Resolve 18 is an intense program, and I also recommend having an up-to-date and FAST computer with at least 16GB RAM and SSD Solid State Drives, or the program may run painfully slow. I've upgraded and want to upgrade again lol. Apparently you're good-to-go if you have a Macbook Pro or equivalent.

In a recent short I found this amazing vintage burlwood & coral shade lamp at a Tuesday! yardsale for only $7. It was unbranded, in pretty rough shape and the main shade had been repaired and there was a still a hole in the back. I don't mind a shipping challenge, but this is already broken and extremely fragile. So, I put it on Facebook, Craigslist and Ebay with local pickup -and it sold on CL in about a month for $120. No fees or shipping and I got to enjoy and share it with you!

My daughter found the troll in a Youtube challenge video in search of the strangest thing. Being kind of fitting I decided to challenge myself to a little stop-motion editing this morning 😅

Check out the deals you can find for resale when you're already out shopping for supplies or whatever at the Dollar Tree store! It's almost Christmas, and DVD and Blu Ray make great stocking stuffers for the movie buffs and collectors in your life! I've sold plenty over the years during the holidays and all year round.
They take very little time to process, list, store and ship, so having these pad your numbers every day is nice and easy….especially when they are brand new, and you have a barcode scanner to quickly enter info!
Please make sure to do your own research and check the sell-through rate when deciding what is a good buy for you!
I hope you find some cool or profitable movies to sell, gift, or collect on your next dollar store trip!!

I want you to succeed! 

These are a few clips from my favorite non-reselling Youtuber, Lewis Howes. Over the past couple years his show has introduced me to not only to himself but to many other great minds that have helped in my paradigm shift, realizing that success is for EVERYONE that finds within themselves what exactly that means to them, and allows inspiration and action towards it. 

In these clips Bruce Lipton, and my favorite explainer of the now-explainable Dr. Joe Dispenza, explain that competition is not really about winning or losing, especially within your own community. As creators, we should be inspired by each other's work and success - perhaps pushing each other to new levels of greatness instead of competing or trying to “win”, or be intimidated/jealous which accomplishes nothing for anyone.  We all learn from and support each other and it is a wonderful thing. I appreciate every little bit of knowledge that you have helped me with in my own journey!!

I applaud your success! It is inspiring, thank you!
