Tuesday night during the Soybean Festival Parade, it hit me that my college years were actually over & my time as Miss UT Martin was officially coming to end. I am so honored to have had the opportunity to be Miss UT Martin my senior year of college. I could not have thought of a better way to end my college career.
4 years ago Martin, TN easily became my second home, instantly my sorority took me in the second week of school my freshman year, the professors had a genuine care for not only my educational accomplishments but also my personal well-being & every person I met along the way helped me become the person I am today.
I could not have imagined this special moment without my best friend, Kareena, by my side through it all. From pageants to pyramid practices to spending time together at the lake, we have stuck together since your first year at UT Martin and even though I have graduated, we still spend hours (and HOURS) talking on the phone. I hope our friendship lasts for years to come as we both take on the next chapters of our lives.
To Mama K, Thank you for ABSOLUTELY everything you have done this year. You sat through every early morning and late night practice at the State Competition. Made sure we had food, blankets, and the cutest gifts everytime we were back at the hotel.
To Maleia represent our University with pride, grace and poise. Don’t blink because it goes by too fast and so does college. College is the best time of your College is the best time of your life & I could not imagine a better college experience than getting the opportunity to represent your University.
Xoxo,
