A trial drug of immunotherapy saved me. I’m going to run (or maybe walk, lol) a 5k to raise funds for research in September! Will you consider a donation? Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Now…any training recommendations? 🤣🤣

Hi Friends,
Still recovering at home. So tired but have managed to thankfully avoid complications! I’m digesting incredible pathology report news that I just discussed with my Dr this morning. The tumor monster is indeed dead. There was a second type of tumor removed that was not dead but is low grade. Overall, the best news we could have hoped for. Wishing my body could keep up with my mind and my need to pour it all out today. That post is coming! Thank you for your support, love and prayers. I don’t even know what to say. 💖

Home sweet home 💕

This is hard. Doable. But hard. Many surgical milestones met today. Wound vac removed, couple other hook ups removed and I took a shower! Took a few strolls and was offered anything on the menu! Food isn’t sounding too appealing yet but it will come. I might even come home tomorrow!! I have needed and felt all of your thoughts and prayers. I’m forever grateful!!!

Quick update. Things are going in the right direction. The epidural was removed and I was given oxi for pain. It has knocked me on my butt! I’m sleeping so much. Sorry if I have not yet replied. The iv fluids have been removed and I feasted on cream of wheat for lunch. It. Was. Devine. My talented surgeon said all looks well but we are not through the first two weeks when leaks and things can get tricky. I will continue to remain realistic and optimistic!! Sending love and thanks to you all!

One of the most difficult yet one of the most glorious of all days! So far, recovery is going well I had a long wait with no drinking or eating. My body had no issue with being hungry. I’m still not hungry! Last time I ate was a few bites of green jello at 11:30 Sunday night. the thirst was hard. The wait is over, I passed the X-ray test of my stomach (no holes or leaks!) and I’m extatic to be dining off the clear menu this evening. Top contenders: iced tea, iced fruit treats and maybe some black coffee. I need to go slow. No results yet but I could not be happier with my healing process so far (now that I can drink)!
Thank you all for your kind words of support ! F CANCER MONSTER!

I just freaked out thinking my blood bpm was my oxygen.

I farted! This is a major development in my recovery ❣️Lol❣️ I am also seeing iced coffee in a desert in my mind. I’m not allowed any kind of liquid until after my stomach test. This is extremely uncomfortable. 🙏🏻 Lord, let me sleep through this waiting phase. amen. ❤️ Thank you all for thoughts and prayers ❣️

Hi friends! Just went for a walk to the nurses station. Also sat up for a while. Got the pain meds flowing again after a break due to low blood pressure. No food or water until after a test tomorrow to make sure tumor monster removal from the outside of my stomach didn’t cause a leak. Not fun. I will never take a simple glass of water for granted again! Thanks for all the love❣️
