God is not in a hurry. His timeline for us is never delayed.

Stop rushing God to do everything on your timeline. He is God. He is never late. He’s always on time.

If God told you to wait, then wait. If God told you to obey, then obey.

That’s why we get tired. That’s why we get stressed about many things. That’s why we get disappointed easily. We’re trying to live outside God’s timeline.

Don’t rush things to happen. However long it takes, keep waiting. Our Father knows what’s best for us. Slowly but surely, I believe it’s worth waiting for.

Give your “control” to the Lord; let Him lead the way. Surrender your will and embrace His timeline, not ours. You can find security in God, knowing that,

“In His time, He will make it happen.”

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31)

“God keeps His promises.”

You may be encountering difficulties and enduring some battles right now, but God’s faithfulness and dependability remain constant.

The God that we serve is a finisher. He never leaves anything unfinished. He never leaves anything undone.

He’s never anxious about the future like we are. He is big. He is sovereign compared to what we’re worried about.

Reflect on every battle that He has triumphed on your behalf. Recall every good thing He has performed for you. Remember every time He has saved you. He has been so good. He is always faithful, and He will not falter now.

It is crucial that we never take His faithfulness for granted. It is equally essential that we do not overlook our faithfulness to Him.

Take a breath. God’s going to do what only He can do, and it’s going to be beautiful.

Your job is to take steps, and it’s God’s job to finish the work.

Have a finishing faith too, one that persists through trials, fights in the midst of adversity, and trusts during difficult times.

He has not forgotten what He started in you, your career, your family, your aspirations, or your ministry.

He holds the blueprint. He holds the key. He holds our future, and in that there’s no reason to worry. He’s helped you start, He will help you finish.

I didn’t write this but I felt it!

Your calling is going to crush you.

If you are called to mend the brokenhearted, you are going to wrestle with a broken heart.

If you are called to heal God’s little ones, you are going to experience your own share of trauma.

If you’re called at all to the lost and broken of this world. The throw aways. To preach and teach the gospel, you WILL be sifted for the wisdom that anoints your message.

If you are called to empower, your self-esteem will be attacked- your successes hard fought.

Your calling will come with spiritual warfare and a sifting - BOTH are necessary for your mantle to be authentic, humble and powerful.

Your crushing won’t be easy because your assignment is not easy - and you can’t minister POWERFULLY what you haven’t walked out. Read that sentence again.

When you’re feeling the weight of it coming down on you, RUN to the Father who longs to be your comfort. Let him whisper your true identity over you while resting under the shadow of his wings. Position yourself against his heartbeat. Let him renew your strength and set your eyes forward.

For you who was about to give up on God, because you think God has given up on you,

I know you can’t see Him, but He is present. When you pass through deep waters, God says “I will be with you”. God gets us through things and He will get you through this. No matter what you are going through, God has the capacity to lead you through it. Now, it won’t be painless, but He promise to transform your pain into a higher purpose. He is standing with you. He is nearer than you can imagine, and He will always be standing near you. It simply falls to you to not give up. Just believe one more day, one more hour, offer one more prayer, take one more breath, and say:

“God, I’m with you. Maybe I can’t see you, but I believe You can see me, and I’m gonna trust You.”
