Tried a different approach with these portraits. No color grading, just the natural colors. This is my little nephew CJ. I just got my new Yongnuo 35mm prime lens yesterday and was trying it out for some product videography with a green screen background when he walked in to see what I was doing. So I asked him if he wanted his picture taken with the new lens, he eagerly agreed so I moved my product video setup out of the way, repositioned my lights, asked him to stand in front of the green screen and I took these two pictures. The qualify of this lens does not disappoint and it captures my nephew quite well with the help of the lights 📸♥️😊

The last photograph from the first rain of the season 🌧️ like a lot of us used to do as kids, the children from around our community use these tires to play with from time to time and when the rains came they carried them a little way down this shallow drain, like rafts. I don't think many children still appreciate playing in the murky water like this anymore though. This one could be a nostalgic photograph for a lot of people I think 🌧️📸❤️

This image is my favorite from last Sunday when I photographed the first rain of the season. I was snapping off pictures trying to time it just right for when the water droplet would hang just on the tip of the leaf but I was just a fraction of a second late and Instead I managed to capture this water drop in mid air as it fell from the leaf. Talk about timing ⌚🌧️📸♥️💯

Product Photography is something I enjoy doing. But with all that's been happening on my journey so far I haven't had the time to take new ones or edit the ones I've already taken. Johnny Lemonade Spec Ad - Since I first tried it Johnny Lemonade has been a personal favorite of mine. So I decided to shoot a commercial for it. Unfortunately my Nikon D3100 didn't do so well with the lights I had and gave me "very noisy footage" so I improvised and shot this entirely on my Redmi Note 8 and using stock footage as well 🎥🎞️♥️
