We don't recommend you live in your van while you convert it... but if you don't have a
choice, at least you'll know it'll all be worth it once it's done!

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park was established in 1916 and Mauna Loa, where I am now is the highest volcano at 4,169 meters!
The preparation for the walk was long, we searched for the best spots that were also safe.

Into the Wild is a book written by Jon Krakauer in 1996, which tells the true story of 24-year-old Christopher McCandless' journey to Alaska's Denali National Park, where he starved to death in an abandoned bus after spending months hunting game.
Intelligent, but laden with anger AT an overbearing and flawed father,
McCandless spent four months completely devoid of human contact in an attempt to cleanse him SELF of what he believed to be the evils of civilization.
The three main themes of the story are thus man versus nature, the relationship between father and son, and freedom from a complex and filter-filled society.
The character of Chris is indeed emblematic, difficult to understand. Both for readers and for those who were close to him.
A kind young man, he leaves home without letting his parents know where he is going.
Hiding his car so as not to let them know where his journey ended, he traveled into the Alaskan wilderness, putting himself in grave danger, seemingly without a thought for those who loved him.
But what the reader and those who loved him know is that Chris intended to invent a whole new life
in which he would be free to wallow in unfiltered experience.
Outside the canons of modern society.
And you? Have you read it?
Being a traveler means leaving pieces of your heart all over the world.
And every journey makes you aware of what is in out there, of what awaits you.
Every journey makes you different. And it makes you privileged, to have lived this experience.
When you plan a trip and your friends tell you: "no worries it will be warm and sunny, we checked the weather on google!"
Digital nomads seek sun, sea and sustainability.
"Slomads" take climate change into account and combine work and green travel to reduce their carbon footprint.
But where does this carbon footprint come from?
It comes down to three things: how we move, what we eat, and where we stay.
Regardless of your lifestyle, your carbon footprint is influenced by the choices you make every day.
But remember, if you live on this planet, you are involved.
