NOTHING LAST FOREVER!!!

This is the private bedroom of Alhaji Busari Adelakun in his home town in Lagelu Local Government area of Oyo State.

He was popularly known as "Eruobodo" ( the courageous one), was a Second Republic Politician in Ibadan.

The fear of Eruobodo was the beginning of wisdom in Oyo State then. He combined thuggery with politics and never hid his use of " juju".

In fact, he would boast and threaten to inflict his "juju" on opponents. He was feared. Even Uncle Bola Ige, then Governor of Old Oyo State, treated him with certain level of respect.

His fellow Commissioner in Oyo State suddenly died and Eruobodo was accused of killing him through metaphysical means and Eruobodo remorselessly retorted in Yoruba that he only tried him metaphysically without knowing that he was not a strong man in that area.

When he died in 1984 his bedroom was locked as nobody was bold enough to enter the bedroom. You can now see the occupants who entered without fear.

Overthinkers may have trouble distinguishing between the fear of making a mistake, which leads to overthinking to the point where they make no decision, and a deep feeling that something is wrong.

Knowing if fear or intuition is guiding your behavior will help you get out of your head and take the next necessary steps.

SIGNS THAT YOU OVERTHINK

▶️Difficulty following along with and contributing to a conversation because you go over potential responses or statements time and again until the conversation has either ended or the window of opportunity for speaking was lost

▶️Continually comparing yourself to the people around you and how you measure up to them

▶️Focusing on worst-case scenarios either involving yourself or the ones you love

▶️Reliving past failures or mistakes over and over again and you're unable to move past them

▶️Worrying about future tasks and/or goals until they feel almost impossible to accomplish

▶️Reliving a past traumatic experience (such as abuse or the loss of a loved one) leaving you unable to cope with it

▶️An inability to slow down the racing of vague thoughts, worries or emotions

HOW TO OVERCOME OVERTHINKING

➡️Don't think of what can go wrong, but what can go right.

➡️Distract yourself into happiness. Meditate of positive outcome.

➡️Stop waiting for perfection.

➡️Accept your best. Celebrate your little wins

MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEOPLE

People learn this late, they are too quick to cut off people.

It is childish and immature to pick offense at AND and EVERY provocation or perceived wrong and then start keeping grudges as a result..

Grow above it.

Someone did not invite you for their wedding, you pick offense with them.

Someone didn't wish you happy birthday, you pick offense with the Person

They didn't like your Facebook Post, you pick offense.

They didn't support you in a disagreement you had with someone, you pick offense with them.

They said No to your request, you pick offense and malice start like bicycle.

You asked them for money, they said they didn't have, you pick offense with them.

You are even keeping record of people who brought gifts to your wedding, so you can know who to pick offense with. Hah.

See,

Everyone is busy,

Everyone has their battles you are not aware of.

Those who you need help from are also looking for help.

Not everything is Personal and intentional

Not everyone hates you.

People will forget about you, not wish you happy birthday, promise you and fail you, not join your group, doesn't mean they don't like you, sometimes People are just caught up with their own personal lives, struggles, and human weaknesses/limitations.

Learn how to manage being disappointed by People and still be on talking terms with them, it'll save you a lot of UNNECESSARY grudges and beefing and save you some FRIENDSHIPS You'll need in Future..
